Looking Back, Looking Forward

Looking Back

For the last two weeks I have had a hard time. I keep praying and asking for help, but what I have received does not seem to fit the problems at hand. In a few weeks there will be another "SUPER BOWL" and many will share their great insights and revelations. Like the "year 2002" stuff of the last month, it will have many sources and run many steams. Why I tie the SUPER BOWL with New Years is obvious...one follows the other. Natural sequence of events. Like Seed..Time...and Harvest. All have a place and purpose in their GOD ordained sequence. Each is a divine Pattern. (but who ever learns anything...anyway)

As I sat chewing on all these great "words" about this "new" year and feeling disgusted I got my "button" pushed...my chain "jerked". All by a short scripture and an image....the image was looking back to see "the footprints in the sand". The scripture.......

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Unsettling, ain't it...especially with that feeling I had of being aware I had missed something somewhere along that beach. If what will happen is simply a repeat of things past, what is the whole thing about the slogans all these people are spewing out these last few weeks in their "state of the Church" addresses. The answer to "the STATE of the CHURCH"....is simple. In present common language.....it "SUCKS"....But we were told it would by Paul, Peter, James, John, Jude, and JESUS. So what is the big deal? I don't know. Can't figure why I have tried so hard not to write this at all. But as always, you have to come to the conclusion that kicking at "the goads" hurts not the goads one iota. So here goes.

When January 1st came around I got no big "rhema".....just a few small ones that had no correlation with each other. Now all those people who wrote their "2002" stuff had everything "seem" to fit....except to each other. So I put things aside...mainly because I did not like where things were leading. Now that was my problem....not ABBA'S.

The first "image" was a dilly....THE LORD OF THE RINGS...old book, new movie. Old VERSE.... Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie, One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Now if you ignore the 3 elves and 7 dwarves....the "image" is quite appropriate for THE END TIMES. A "DARK LORD" in the SHADOWS bringing mankind into the darkness and "binding" them. JESUS said quite clearly that man can not serve two Masters..... Matthew 6 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? But Luke does not say "no man"....check this out.... Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Funny that THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT gives us a distinguishment...a differentiation between men and servants????/

Now the second "image" came from an old movie...nothing new there....Sergeant YORK with Gary Cooper. Most Americans over 70 know about Alvin York. Likewise old movie buffs. Old Alvin was a guy from the Appalachian Mountains that got "religion" the hard way. Many of us have. And in WW1 was a "conscientious objector". But got drafted anyway. He was given a choice. To serve in the military and possibly kill others. Now Alvin did not want to kill. As he puts it..."THE BOOK is AGAINST IT"......the Fifth Commandment. So he was allowed to choose. Funny thing, he sought his answer from GOD....and got it. They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. For Alvin York it was simple...Caesar had to be obeyed...when dealing in the natural. JESUS said so. So he went to France.

The story then gets interesting. To sum it all up Alvin was against killing.....but won the CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR for killing....of course we call it VALOR...Alvin had a problem. He was watching his friends dying all around him and "knew" the only way to keep his friends from being killed, was to kill the enemy. To KILL in order to stop THE KILLING. PARADOXICAL...ain't it.

The third "image" was a song. Funny thing, it was attached to a movie that just came out. The song is played on the TV commercials...and throughout the whole movie it is not heard. It plays during the ending credits. What that means I am not sure, and it bothers me.... The "song" is ancient. In the Gaelic....called THE MOREEN....that is the "melody"....the SONG is the "words". That itself is a major lesson. The melody is the same...the "tempo" and the "lyrics" can change repeatedly. Timing and Words. The "song" is THE MINSTREL BOY and the "movie" is BLACK HAWK DOWN.

Like I said...I did not like where all this seemed to be leading. still do not.

But to comprehend what will "come" ahead in "time"....I have to look back...over the "footprints".

So I looked back and could get no farther than September 11, 2001. It left a chasm not easily crossed... like there is nothing before it worth seeing. 9/11/01 changed the times and seasons. Another image from Ecclesiastes....so I looked at 9/11/01. On GOD'S calendar.....it is ELLUL 22/23. Which is just a "date"...a "milepost" on the road to refer to. Except ELLUL is the period of TESHUVAH....the 30 days that "precede" the "LATTER RAIN". Traditionally on ELLUL 1 you start to "look back" to the past year and see where you have turned away from GOD. TESHUVAH means to return. To come back to.... On ELLUL 1 Psalm 27 is read...studied...accepted. On ELLUL 2 Psalm 27 and Psalm 28.....On ELLUL 3 Psalm 27 and 29.... On ELLUL 22/23 it would have been Psalm 27 and Psalm 50. So I looked at both psalms again. And got this sick feeling once again.

Psalm 27 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. 7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. 9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. 11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. 12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. 13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

For 9/11/01 Psalm 27 seemed just about right...if not late. Watching the WTC Towers on fire and crashing does remind one of verse 9. So I had to ask whether America has followed through verse 11....listened to GOD and followed HIS PATH since then. Are we "waiting" as directed in verse 14? I don't think so. Then we have Psalm 50.…

Psalm 50 1 The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. 5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. 6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. 7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. 8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. 9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee. 18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. 19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. 20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. 21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. 22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. 23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Now if the events of 9/11/2001 were a message from GOD to America did we hear HIM CLEARLY? Psalm 50 speaks of a nation that "turned away" from GOD. David Wilkerson several months ago spoke out that as a nation we did not get this message. The nation has not "changed" from what I see.

So where did it all fit was my question...still is. But I had gone back to 9/11/01 and my first step back to "now" I stumbled of ELLUL 23/24..... actually sunset on 9/11/01....and Psalm 51.…

Psalm 51 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

If Psalm 50 was a call to a nation...Psalm 51 was a personal call to return. How many have heard this call to return unto GOD and HIS COVENANT and HIS PATH. Looking back to this point and forward I see little call to conviction and repentance in all the messages from 9/11 to 9/27. That was YOM KIPPUR. THE BIG DAY...on GOD'S CALENDAR. But then using man's calendar and 1/1/2002 I still see no voice calling in the wilderness to return or repent. So what do we have to look forward to if we do not turn away from Caesar and Mammon? If THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT can be trusted....by looking back we might see ahead....and that too is interesting...

Looking Forward

LOVING A JEALOUS GOD

Several years ago I met two gentlemen that have greatly influenced many in the BODY. Dr JR Church and Gary Stearman. Several years ago Dr Church published the book "Prophecies in the PSALMS" where he placed before us that the psalms in their sequence seemed to correspond to the years of the 20th Century. In a later book "Prophecies in THE SONG OF MOSES" , Dr Church expanded the theory that the Psalms were a template for the events taking place. 1991, 1993, 1994 all fit well with their years....many wrote on it, even more spoke on it. In the late 90's many pointed ahead at the appropriately numbered psalms. But that did not happen this year.

So I wondered, what was wrong with year 2002 and Psalm 102? My answer was not in the Psalm....because it sure seems prophetic to me.

Psalm 102
1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.
7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.
10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
12 But thou, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.
24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.
25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

Now I can take a joke....but verses 1 and 2 do not fit the image of "positive" thinkers. Most of the messages for the year 2002 have no place where we are calling on GOD in desperate times. Many have much to say about prosperity, blessings and glory....it does not come in the mode of rescue from adversity as Psalm 102 does. Psalm 102 is powerful because in verse 18 it declares that it is " written for the generation to come"....when THE LORD shall build up ZION and appear in HIS GLORY. Many see this ahead, but the path is not the same. I too "see" a day ahead where HE REIGNS and HIS GLORY will fill THE EARTH. My problem is the "dots" between now and that DAY do not look the same as the others. Their pictures and patterns look awhile lot nicer and easier than the images I am dealing with.

Could I be just plain wrong? I could be. Except verse 25 fits so well with the idea of looking back to see ahead. "Of old" is the reference to the earth's ''foundations" as the work of HIS HANDS. In other words everything has been said and will happen as HE SAID it would. So the events of the next days, weeks, months will look a whole lot like things that happened and were recorded in "ancient times". Jeremiah twice speaks of returning to the old or ancient path(s). In Chapter 6 he states man just will not walk it.

Now Psalm 102 was spoken and recorded some 4000 years ago by Moses. But from verse 1 through verse 9 it seems I am looking in a mirror. If so verse 10 is challenging...NO ONE....absolutely NO ONE is addressing THE INDIGNATION OF GOD today. As I pondered this last night I realized there is a lot of danger in falling in love with a GOD who says HE IS JEALOUS. As paradoxical as it sounds, John's GOD IS LOVE and MOSES hearing Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. Is the same GOD. Now the term "JEALOUS" is to most people a negative term that revolves around emotion. Yet it is a referential adjective repeated over and over. My friend Nahum starts his book with the image....

Nahum 1
1 The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Nahum speaks of a "jealous" and avenging GOD. A GOD who is "furious". Both are "negative adjectives". Joshua is not much better. He challenged the people with...

19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

ADONAI YHVH says HIS NAME IS JEALOUS. IT then is part of HIS NATURE. It sure is not hidden anywhere. Yes HE IS a GOD of LOVE....in HIS OWN WORDS WE HAVE both realities.... And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, 7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

For some reason no one warns any one about that "visiting iniquity" thing. I do like the merciful and gracious and longsuffering. I need it. And being abundant in goodness and truth is indeed positive. But someone, somewhere decided to edit out the negative stuff and forgot to explain it to the people. Then and now. Joshua said they, the people, would not hold up their side of the agreement. He was right. THEN and NOW.

For a long, long time now I have been "burdened" with a question. It is a cold and vulgar thought, but it is real. Why would anyone mess with a jealous GOD? Why would the church, a church, any church "cheat" on GOD? Sing about loving JESUS one minute then chase Mammon the next?

So I look ahead at a LOVING ABBA and the Books of JOEL, DANIEL, and Revelation. I look at the nation of the US of A and see ancient Samaria and Judea. I keep seeing the STORM and hearing the THUNDERS. Not exactly what others are "seeing" and "hearing".....

I see a SHEPHERD who is THE LAMB. THE LAMB TREADS THE WINEPRESS. David wrote a cute little song long ago.... O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. Makes me wonder just how people will respond when they "see HIM as HE IS". Moses wrote... For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward.

Dear Stephen,
Today someone forwarded to me the latest report from Bill Koenig. I usually enjoy reading his insights to the global and national events. He speaks as a "watchman" who looks out at the landscape and watches events unfold. But this time he says some things that are on my heart. Seems he too is looking in the right direction to see the clouds moving ahead of "THE STORM". So let me share a slice of what i just read....

This is some solid advice from a man who does not title himself or advertise himself in religious or spiritual forms. But what i really liked was the differentiation between "prophecies" and "possibilities.". Most of what is coming forth titled as "STUFF FOR 2002" is almost all "possibilities". Someone made a comment about "just one week into the NEW YEAR"....in a previous post. In their perspective they are right. The "western world" says the year just began. In China and Asia they would argue. Their years begin on NEW MOONS/FULL MOONS in relations to the equinoxes. And if, like me, are into the idea that GOD has HIS OWN calender and plan of events....we are 4 months into HIS NEW YEAR.

But that is not the issue...how we think is.

Mr. Koenig says "Prophecies assume an inspired Word from God"...which is TRUE. We "assume" it is from GOD. But Paul told the Church in Corinth to let the "prophets" judge all WORDS that are spoken before the "congregation". So all of us should judge if a "word" comes from GOD....or not. In a post titled "mea culpa"....i mentioned Deuteronomy 18. For several years it has been on my heart because it, like all of GOD'S WORDS touch us. Paul says...."All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

Now many people quote and teach this.....and it is indeed, some real good stuff. But....i know i like this conjunction....BUT....the whole chapter is dynamic...and rarely addressed....so let me start to address an issue....FALSE BRETHREN and THEIR FRUIT.

Many will refuse to believe that something labeled as "religious", "christian", "of god"....just may not be. Many want to "know" what the next year will be like. Many desire man to tell them things will be good, safe, happy....because they have never heard GOD before. And they have been taught GOD LOVES THEM and will BLESS them...even if they do not know HIM...have no covenant with HIM...and do the things GOD SAYS HE WILL CURSE. SELAH...please.

So if anyone really wants to know what GOD IS SAYING for the HERE and NOW....just study to show yourselves as approved workmen.…

2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of thetruth.

In his letter to Timothy Paul addresses a situation that would take place in some distant future. He describes it for young Timothy...and for whoever would read as led by THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT… He says, as directed and anointed by THE LIVING GOD, there would come a time called THE LAST DAYS....something spoken of by the major and minor prophets. It would hold great danger to believers. And "we" could KNOW that time by examples in verses 2-6. Paul also makes a statement that that for 2000 years has awaited this "time and season".…

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Today in amerika "secular humanism" replaced scripture in most seminaries and bible colleges 30-40 years ago. Men and women earn titles and degrees to put behind their names to impress the flocks. To impress "boards". Yet throughout the "church" there is a famine. Children and sheep starve....because they can not turn away from those who have no knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Here Paul associates this church leadership with the magicians that contended against MOSES and YHWH...Paul says they "resist the TRUTH". Powerful accusation. Then explains it as the fruit of corrupt minds and reprobate in their ways. Paul spoke on this in Romans also. In amerika today we have been reaping TARES planted in THE MASTER'S field 30-40-50 years ago. Tares can not be threshed and ground to flour for "BREAD" to feed THE CHILDREN OF GOD.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

Paul says that there will come a time where this all we come to light, be exposed. And then does something interesting…

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

Paul sets a "standard" on how to judge APOSTLES and TEACHERS...by using himself as an example. The TRUE SERVANTS we will know from seeing their lives and hearing their words upheld by scripture. We will know THAT GOD'S HAND is on them.… And then he makes a prophetic line in the sand…

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Persecution....not prosperity...is a sign of those who as PAUL STATES...."live godly in CHRIST JESUS". BUT.…

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Paul is clear...those who are evil and serve the enemy will only get worse.....please remember this…

But Paul is not really a "doom and gloom" guy....he shines some light here…

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Paul tells Timmy that THE HOLY SCRIPTURE, THE WORD OF GOD will through FAITH IN JESUS make us wise...but not in our own eyes. And Paul gives us the reason why…

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Now that is how verses 16 and 17 should be discussed, explained....because it has a purpose. So should we.

We should be able to discern what is of GOD....and what is not. But most do not.

GOD'S CHILDREN should differentiate between ABBA'S VOICE, and the voices of THE LYING SPIRITS that were sent to the false prophets. For me the question is why would someone want to be a false prophet. Why would anyone want to hear anything not of GOD? There is an answer...from long ago. But it addresses more than false prophets. Boy does it ever....Deuteronomy 18

1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.
2 Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them. Here it is MOSES instructing a nation, as Paul was teaching Timothy. And Moses starts with the LEVITES....the professional clergy. GOD tells MOSES that the LEVITES are GOD'S responsibility and have no inheritance as the other tribes. But GOD will provide...
3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.
4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.
5 For the LORD thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.

It is GOD'S IDEA that the LEVITES are chosen and set apart for service to HIM. In the New TESTAMENT we have a "chosen generation", but "service only to GOD" is seldom tied that "royal priesthood" thing. That is error. Anytime man "preaches" about being a chosen generation and a royal priesthood and the message is not on obedience and service it is deception. SELAH.

6 And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose;
7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.
8 They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.

In other words, the Levites get a daily portion. Divided equally. They have no land, or house, or property to call there own. They do not build personal ministries and take the fleecings of the whole flock. But today the PASTOR stands above all else. Asks for money all the time. Has everyone bow to them...figuratively speaking. Why? It sure was not from the pattern GOD ESTABLISHED for HIS SERVANTS...the LEVITES. So where did they get their theology and religion from? God tellsus.…

9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

Among the heathens...the priests and magicians were elite, elevated, especial....and liked it. So do today's clergy.

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

When you try to tie verses 9 and 10 together we see the abominations of the nations as idol worship...passing their children through the fire. Isaiah and Jeremiah confirm that this happened in GOD'S LAND by "his people". Then HE speaks of "users of divination", "astrologers", "witches and people who use "enchantments". Today most people will say they are modern and do not believe in "hocus pocus". So why does GOD? HE tells MOSES to warn the people. SELAH.

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. AND HERE it is...FAMILIAR SPIRITS. Other voices....and they are not holy. JESUS called them FOUL SPIRITS....i'll go with that.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Have we driven out all who play with foul spirits? Who hear and speak what lies they hear? SELAH.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. GOD calls us to be "perfect". Many say it can not be, so why try.

That i think is the whopper....WHY TRY? GOD will just have to take us as we are. YUCK....
But that is why we have to get away from the liars and mockers...by following JESUS and learning "OF HIM'' once we give HIM our burdens as HE has asked us repeatedly to do. But then we have to pick up HIS YOKE. Now JESUS said all that HE SAID for reasons and purposes. None of HIS WORDS were idle or pointless. In spite of what men and demons say. Following HIM has a plan and a purpose...and that is to be perfected. In spite of the stuff around us.

14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

GOD...our ABBA wants us listening to HIM. HE SENT HIS SON so we can learn to walk and to follow JESUS away from the world. AND JESUS SENT US THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT so we can hear with our own ears. All of this has a reason and a purpose.

15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

The descendants of Abraham, GOD'S FRIEND, did not want GOD to speak to them. So GOD used Moses. No one else....yet people were prophesying in the camp. Korah tried to depose MOSES. And DIED. Later Miriam got Aaron to go with her against MOSES and GOD CURSED HER....now it is all in the BOOK. For that reason YHWH said HE would send HIS SERVANTS...prophets like MOSES who GOD WOULD TALK TO....and then they would speak to those people hiding idols in their saddle bags. Which makes what GOD says next more than interesting…

17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

We are not to be "afraid" of the man or woman that speaks, as GOD says "presumptuously". Why does GOD say "afraid"? Maybe it is that so many who call themselves "prophets" and "prophetesses" claim to be from GOD, but whenever questioned spew curses in all directions. In the time of MOSES there was a dude called BALAAM. Now this "dude" had a big REP going among all those pagans. Why? Because he had a record of achievements all had seen. Scripture says ol' BALAAM had the "power". The power to bless and to curse.

Now BALAAM lives today in "his doctrines". In Rev 2 JESUS tells Pergamos that HE holds against them that they "hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication."

Anyone who causes GOD'S CHILDREN TO STUMBLE....to worship idols....to commit spiritual fornication is into BALAAM. The real problem with Balaam is he claims GOD'S POWER and POSITION....he claims to bless and curse. Things only GOD can do.....or so we claim.

There is a war going on outside the church, and inside the church. Many intercessors will tell of "curses" sent against them. Of schemes and snares set for them. These are facts. The BIGGEST LIE of the enemy which the liberal church bought hook, line and sinker is "THERE IS NO DEVIL"....no ENEMY...no ACCUSER of the BRETHREN. The second biggest lie comes from the secular humanists...THERE IS NO SIN. The secular humanists claim man was made flawed. Man can not be held accountable when GOD...if there is a GOD....made man flawed and weak. So sin is wrong. Now if you buy into that...you do not need a Savior. THE SON need not have been born. THE LAMB WAS SLAIN FOR NO REASON.

See how the lies build on themselves. The WORD of GOD tells us to STUDY.....scripture. The WORD of GOD tells us to seek first HIS KINGDOM. The WORD OF GOD SAYS HIS YOKE IS EASY and HIS BURDEN IS LIGHT. So why do so many struggle and are worn out all the time? Maybe they have not taken HIS YOKE? Just maybe they never heard HIM SAY..."FOLLOW ME....COME UNTO ME....". ANY THOUGHTS.....selah

Snatches Of Time

Yesterday night was very busy. But like any night I found snatches of time where I would catch myself praying for my patient, praying for a co-worker who just “lost her mother”, for the families of the last “victims” of bombings and shootings in Israel. Long ago I found it difficult to set a schedule for “prayer”. Some people have a set time everyday where they “say their prayers”, “read their Bible”, maybe even “meditate” or “worship”. At one point in my life I had my day “neatly scheduled” to “fit GOD in”...where I deemed it appropriate.

Looking back I realize that in appearances I could have been labeled as “moderately religious”, one step from “fanatical cultist”. All that kept me from such a “glorious” achievement was THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT and this “guy” I kept running into. First it was dreams, then came what people call visions. In these “dreams and visions” I quickly learned “HE” had many labels. Went by several names and “wore” many “hats”.

I don’t know exactly when, but last night I had the “snatch” of thought that it must have been about right now, JERUSALEM TIME, of course, where HE sat on the donkey to ride into Jerusalem. And I thought HE had to...for two reasons. First because it had been prophesied in the OT. And second so that HE would have been in the tomb long enough that the next “first day of the week”.... OR THE FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS was exactly 3 days....

I have a dear brother named Bill who was given the IMAGE of the THIRD DAY. Powerful image and a powerful ministry. But last night I sort of got in that flow between thought and prayer and started looking not just at the IMAGES and THE PATTERNS.... All played out in the book of EXODUS.... And in the GOSPELS... but at the prophetic timing. CALL it PROPHETIC SEQUENCE.

To have ABIB 10 on the first day of the week meant only one year out of seven met with the prophetic timetable. But then again, so was HIS birth. First there is a decree from Rome... or was it a marriage contract between Joseph and Mary’s father? Or was it the star the MAGI saw? But we can’t forget Elizabeth and Zachariah...

See what I am talking about? To pull all the “threads” together to fulfill the OT PROPHECIES was not happenstance or coincidence. So as I began to ponder the day HE... THE LAMB OF GOD... rode through THE EASTERN GATE. What was HE thinking about? Was HE looking ahead... or was HE looking back to when HE delivered HIS PEOPLE from EGYPT? Or was HE looking to here and now and the need to “deliver” HIS PEOPLE again?

And then I thought... which one? The people of the first 6 covenants.... Or the people of the “NEW COVENANT”.... Yes there are a total of “7” covenants. But then again, what do you expect? It’s HIS PATTERN.... “7” is the # for both completion and perfection. And when we talk about THE LAMB “completion” and “perfection” should be on our minds.

Every day people are being killed in Israel. Every day “saints” are persecuted and martyred somewhere in the world. And every day people in amerika keep going on with their lives and struggle from moment to moment with “the world, the flesh, and the devil”. I know that HE must have been aware of all this as the crowds shouted “Hoshuannah... Hoshuannah... Y’Shua ben Da’ud.... HOSHUANNAH!!!!”

We say “hosanna” and it has no meaning.... But then again so does most of what is said or done. “Hoshuannah” in Aramaic means “SAVE US”, SAVE US.... Yeshua son of David.... Save us!!!!”

At least they knew HE was a KING...in the DAVIDIC LINE. Do church goers today really understand it and believe it today?

So I wondered what HE was thinking...about what HE still had to say that day in the TEMPLE COURTS? Or what HE would say to the 12 till HIS ARREST on Tuesday night on the Mount of Olives? Or was HE THINKING about the trial Wednesday morning and the crucifixion?

And I wonder how could HE do it all? But then again, maybe that is why HE is so special... so WONDERFUL? Somewhere along the line I realized I had never focused on what HE MIGHT have been thinking like I was at that moment in time, and I began to wonder why. Scripture says HE was “slain from the foundation of the world”. He kept telling the 12 HE would be crucified. HE even told them HE WOULD RISE... on that THIRD DAY.

I keep thinking of that little fact, everything HE told them that would happen, happened. And I wonder about how intensely dense I must be. The things HE HAS said to me... why do I doubt? Why even question? But I do.... as Paul said.... oh wretched man that I am...

So for the last 24 hours I have pondered what JESUS might have been thinking, and I realize there is no answer. Over and over I come back to a simple fact.... When it was all said and done...it was ABBA’S WILL that was done.

Suddenly in a moment of clarity all of reality can boil down to four little words... YOUR WILL BE DONE. And if HIS WILL IS DONE then THE KINGDOM IS HERE.

Sometime today an old simple song came into my spirit.... I had not heard it in years.

Maybe it ain’t got what “the brethren” want these days....

...Every road I travel down, YOU have gone before me…

SEED OF ABRAHAM

Angels, Cities, Deceivers & SARS

Dear Stephen,

I got up this morning without any plans to respond to anything on the WPA. I had thought of pointing out the "coincidence" that the largest outbreak of SARS outside of China and Hong Kong is in the city of TORONTO. Several weeks ago as the WPA started talking about the recent outbreak of "the Toronto blessing" i was being hit from all sides by info on SARS and the Canadian outbreak.

Like i say there are no coincidences in the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. Funny how things go. I remember the first time, maybe two years ago i "ran into" Pastor Hahn and his personal angel "Precious", (with the) Holy Spirit quoting scripture and doing major instruction. (To my knowledge, no) other saints who have "wake up angels" have told us about it.

Hold your horses Sharon Rose...i do believe in ministering angels...and i do believe in visitations. Yes there are hundred accounts in scripture. Over a period of 6000 years....200 angel visits equals 1 every 30 years. Then take in the 12 month period that starts with Zechariah and the angel in the HOLY PLACE. Add Mary with Gabriel and Joseph....by the time Joseph takes Mary and baby to Egypt we have had angels all over the place.

Anyone notice a week ago CBS showed the 2 part series finale of TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL? As soon as CBS ends an 11 year series Pastor Hahn and Precious return to the forefront.

COINCIDENCE.......i do not think so. But i would like to think that the writer of Hebrews had a handle on things when he warned us..."Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it". Granted i would like to believe that when someone has reached the bottom of their pit that an angel like Monica would suddenly glow with heavenly light and say..."GOD LOVES YOU....". The key is that ABBA'S angel had been there all along, helping and just "being there". Too many times over the years i found myself "being there" at the point of pain and loss,

You asked "the men" whether they ever led a soul "to the LORD". I do not want to answer for anyone else. But i will answer you "yes i have". But i have found myself being used more to bring back the lost and hurting and frightened. Just being a light in the dark and freighting place no one ever expected to find themselves in.

THE LORD chose to use me in my own field/profession. Amazing how many opportunities THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT can find for an old dog like me to "just be there"....ON DUTY.

Now i really wanted to discuss SARS....and Toronto. And by the way...PENSACOLA is where Brownsville Assembly of God is located. People took bus trips to Pensacola and flew to Toronto from Miami to "get some" every week. Depending on the individual the "some" could vary greatly. Some went for HOLY LAUGHTER....some for HOLY GHOST GOOSE BUMPS. What was interesting was that some came back changed, others kept looking for something they could not find no matter where they went.

Both Toronto and Pensacola/Brownsville have one thing in common. GOD stepped in and made HIS PRESENCE known. Lives were changed dramatically. Word got out and people came from all over.

AND SOMETHING CHANGED.....in both Toronto and Brownsville/Pensacola....they were merchandised and sold to all who came for "some" thing. Crowds were huge, Brownsville had multiple daily services and people waited hours in line to get into the sanctuary. People wanted "to spread" what they found in TORONTO AIRPORT ASSEMBLY and BROWNSVILLE ASSEMBLY home and elsewhere.

AND SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE GOD LEFT...and the people tried to keep things going. And going...and going...laughter had given way to animal sounds.…

Sharon Rose, i agree, what occurred in Toronto and Brownsville was of GOD, when both started. But so was the BRAZEN SERPENT (Nehushtan). When Moses led the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL for 40 years GOD MOVED. So did GOD'S PEOPLE. For over 100 years in the United States GOD WOULD MANIFEST and lives changed....AZUSA STREET...Marshal, Texas....Kansas City...Toronto....Pensacola/Brownsville....and many others.

On the MOUNT of TRANSFIGURATION the guys wanted to put up Tabernacles...Tents… they wanted to stay where the GLORY had been. So it is today. That is "BOXING HIM IN"...too.

I have no false understanding of THE WORD OF GOD. I know that one day i will stand before HIM and will be judged. The wood, hay and stubble will be ashes. Yes there is a great deal of work to do. But the CHURCH is filled with dead works. Has been for years.

I guess talking about "THE SIMPLICITY OF CHRIST" and THE BRIDE just ain't enough fun.... and then again....anything to do with THE WORD OF GOD ain't much fun either to many it would seem. Stephen at least you have noticed the "absence". From the sheer number of posts on the so called prophetic sites who would have guessed that maybe something is wrong.

On the great chess board of the HEAVENLIES.....… THE ENEMY would like all believers to concede to him his VICTORY. The PROPHET DANIEL warned that the GREAT WAR would last 3 1/2 years.

Old chapter 7 of DANIEL'S VISION of the 4 CREATURES as alluded to by Shoshona and spoken of in the Debon thing, but it is not the BIGGEST ISSUE of Chapter 7....at least to me…

THE BIGGIE....is THE ANCIENT OF DAYS.…

21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Daniel and i have a few things in common.....the stuff THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT has shown us troubles the heart and has influenced all my thoughts and actions for some time now.

It is little horn time....and it is a set time because we have 3 witnesses who have declared it.…

Daniel in Babylon, John on Patmos, and YESHUA BEN YOSEF....THE SON OF GOD. Actually all JESUS did was quote DANIEL THE PROPHET....we should understand that is most important.

Paul says that we will be "gathered together unto HIM".....so our "minds" would not be "shaken".... but how many people are into THE GREAT SHAKING....and nothing else.... and Paul says that we should not be TROUBLED by "spirit"...."word" .....or "letter" "as that the day of CHRIST is at hand." Then he says "let no man deceive you..." and addresses the joker who opposes GOD and is trying to usurp THE THRONE of THE MOST HIGH..…

The earth is just a battle ground....a cosmic chess board where THE ENEMY does his thing.

And america is just one small chunk of real estate....not the pivotal fulcrum of CREATION..…

Two weeks ago it was clear to me things had snapped....but watching the WPA there was no evidence to prove anything....all i had was the conversations between myself and my brothers in CHRIST....Trey, Mark, Harley, David.....add Thomas Gibson and Ray Aguillera and there is a pattern....David sent me this…

Now by My Hand will you see Who decides Who is king, what nations are raised up or brought low. Actually that makes two great songs........different.....but THE TRUTH is there..................too bad those were not the only songs i got over the last few weeks.......Which takes me again to the point HE made to Stephen.....that "we" were getting back what we have been "GIVING HIM". Now that image is not new....i had been given it several times in the past. Going On Patrol

To the members of the WPA..…

In the last week i have been, like most of you been bombarded by "info" on many different levels and from many different sources. in the natural there is a COMET called NEAT....and in JERUSALEM there was snow that went along with major flooding throughout Israel. Scripture says that THE JORDAN was at FLOOD STAGE when THE ARC crossed over. Joshua gave the "children of Israel" 3 days to "PREPARE".

Now there are 2 sources out there hitting the internet. First is a guy named Ted Haggard of Colorado Springs and his "The World Prayer Center" who have been "deluged" with posts from intercessors about 030303. The fact that THE NEW AGERS have been pushing it for several years "adds" to it's importance.

Second is C. Peter Wagner who also is in Colorado Springs and his "Global Strategic Prayer Network" is calling for 40 days of fasting and prayer. Now Ted and Pete have more than a location coincidence....at one time several years ago they were in "ministry" together.....and had a parting of minds.… now they are in competition together. But both claim to be the center of PLANETARY PRAYER.

Pete has been at it longer and has more "name recognition". Plus he has associated himself with some of the biggest names among the ELITE of MINISTRIES. In fact he is a founding father of what they call

"THE APOSTOLIC COUNCIL OF PROPHETIC ELDERS".

Now these are not the only ones out there involved in world prayer/intercession. Out in Kansas City there is Mike Bickle and "International House of Prayer" who as of yet has not entered the fray so to speak. Personally you would think GOD would be more consistent and tell all 3 the same stuff. Here on the WPA we have had numerous areas of powerful synchronicity. Stephen has highlighted several in the last few days. So what is going on in these ELITE SUPERMINISTRIES?

Anyone remember the FABLE of THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF? For years Pete and his friends Cindy and Dutch have played the con....pray or all hell breaks loose. Of course there was just enough prayer to hold off DIVINE JUDGMENT.....according to these LEADERS.

The only problem in the fable is taking place every day....the WOLVES WIN....which means more sheep are devoured. The fable centers around the boy with responsibility and those who place such responsibility on a kid with a problem. There is no issue about the existence of wolves. They are real. Now why is it that these celebrated leaders of PROPHETS...APOSTLES...INTERCESSORS...are in competition with each other for the attention of the internet church? Do you think the sheep's welfare is #1 on their AGENDA?

JESUS asked PETER....the fisherman...to "FEED MY SHEEP"....."FEED MY LAMBS" .… "FEED MY SHEEP"..… not a whole lot of variation in all that. Now JESUS calls HIMSELF "THE GOOD SHEPHERD". It is one of the oldest and most profound of THE OLD TESTAMENT images HE fulfills. Ancient Israel, being an agricultural state where herding was a major resource, you would think that the image of WOLVES be an important prophetic shadow. Funny thing...do a word search for WOLF in King James....get a total of 5 hits. Now try WOLVES....and get 7 hits. Not hundreds of hits....just 12....here are 4...…

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

A year ago i asked this "company" about what we are to do with "wolves". JESUS "SPECIFICALLY" warns of WOLVES camoflaged by wearing the hides of dead sheep. Dead Sheep is a profound Image if/when seen in the SECOND HEAVEN. Obviously few have had repeated experiences with these IMAGES.

In recent months the WPA has had sporadic sparks of "immediacy"...the awareness of the fact that "SOMETHING"

is about to happen. But then again, the MEDIA has been hyping WAR for 14 months. So where is THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT in all of THIS """STUFF"""........?

A few days ago i started hearing "songs" again....and seeing "images"....and scriptures kept repeating themselves.

And THREADS appeared on the WPA....but i do not expect anyone to be as weird as i am and see them come together. In fact...i doubt anyone got the joke....i think there was the POST about the 36 and a reference to a body of visions i have shared over many years...and then there was a hoot of an article called "The Removal of The Warrior".… where a Charismatic Pastor who attend an Episcopalian Seminary....ran by D. James Kennedy..… asks a question "where is the Prophet… The Patriarch…the Warrior and the Wild man…",,,,.....!!!!!!

Perchance he is in need within his congregation..…

Would he know what to do with a WILD MAN? And is the OFFICE OF WILD MAN well recognized in the CHURCH?

Like i said...it is a hoot...if you have ran through THE VALLEY OF VISION a few times. In fact just yesterday Stephen reprinted a one year old post where THE LORD OF HOSTS told me specifically...

> We sat on the rock and stared out at THE VALLEY...and HE SAID… "IT IS TIME TO TAKE THE PATH TO GOSHEN. I TOLD YOU TO PAINT YOUR FACE AND BE READY".

Anything wilder than Mel Gibson in Braveheart.....maybe that is what the WILD MAN IMAGE pertains to. But for me the image of a "painted face" is camouflage....as in immediate preparation for combat in the here and now. The ELITE ministries all want attention....a sniper in enemy territory wants to be unseen and unheard. The WPA was founded with a vision of RUN SILENT/RUN DEEP....does anyone remember what THE LORD STARTED?

A year ago that post ended with this…

Well WPA...a year ago i got hit with a powerful vision and i shared it with you. Now it is time to "clear my baffles" and go deep and silent...to go hunting. In scripture JESUS never really tells us what to do with wolves...no LOGOS...so all i have is RHEMA....a wolf in sheep's clothing has only one future...dead at MY MASTER'S FEET. SHEEPDOGS DEFEND SHEEP....they do not fleece them or eat them. So maybe the WARRIORS will show up.....like the cavalry at the last minute.… WILD MEN....maybe no one knows just how wild things can get...ask DAVID....

Psalm 118
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Much Shall Be Required

Long ago Jeremiah spoke of "THE DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE". If you look at it, the reference originates from THE THRONE OF HEAVEN. ABBA is speaking to us. THE ANCIENT OF DAYS is alluding to an image of THE BRIDE. Micah and Isaiah also speak of her.

To hear THE VOICE OF GOD is a burden. In the parables JESUS gave us the message of the TALENTS. In fact it is the "less comforting" words that JESUS HIMSELF gives that have made me be a "little more violent" in my wording. But read this passage Luke gave us and see why it might be time for us to "reevaluate" who we are in HIM.

⁴⁶ The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
⁴⁷ And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
⁴⁸ But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
⁴⁹ I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
⁵⁰ But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
⁵¹ Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

⁵⁶ Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
⁵⁷ Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
⁵⁸ When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
⁵⁹ I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

There have been times where people who label themselves as "pastors", "teachers", "intercessors", "watchmen", "apostles" and "prophets" have told me i quote too much scripture. A few have chided me for "quoting" too much. Usually i ask what did they receive in their "spirit" and usually get no answer.

In the past many have told me they could not get past the scripture to get to the point i was making. I guess that was the problem... usually it was not me trying to make the point. It was the ONE whom i was quoting.

In Luke 12:49.... HE SAYS...the person to whom HE GIVES "much", "MUCH SHALL BE REQUIRED". Then HE SAYS whoever has "COMMITTED MUCH"… from these HE WILL ASK EVEN MORE.

Now this one partial verse is not a hot topic for any preacher in any church. But if HE has called you into THE SERVICE OF HIS KINGDOM ....it is everything. Now i am not talking about "ministry" or "office" or "position". When THE SHEPHERD called me it was to SERVE HIM. Not HIS FLOCK.

Ponder that please. So when i "react" to the leadings of THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT compromise is not an option. Paul has several one-liners on this:

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

About a year ago i made a comment on the WPA that bothered some, offended others. I made the statement that i was not part of "THE BRIDE". I could also say that i am not one of "HIS SHEEP". At face value both appear very "wrong". The problem is the "point of perception", and that is THE SHEPHERD/THE BRIDEGROOM. As i was given the "vision" of THE SHEPHERD and HIS SHEEP so was i also given THE DAUGHTER OF ZION and THE BRIDEGROOM who bought her. Add to this THE LORD OF HOSTS.....THE LAMB OF GOD.......THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE KING OVER ALL THE EARTH.

The fullness of REVELATION of THE SON is hardly complete....in me. So when HIS COUNCILOR... THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT leads me...i must follow...wherever.

Stephen, my brother, back when this year...HIS YEAR STARTED ON ROSH HA'SHANNAH.... i was led to Isaiah.....it speaks of a "burden" for those who "hear HIM"....and maybe "see".....

Isaiah 22
¹ The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops?
² Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
³ All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far.
⁴ Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.

¹⁶ What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?

²² And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
²³ And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
²⁴ And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
²⁵ In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Isaiah 22 ends...."for THE LORD hath spoken it". All these things occurred in the time of Jeremiah. It might have happened earlier. But Hezekiah prayed, and GOD HEARD. And sent Isaiah with a strange response.

²⁰Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel That, which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
²¹ This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
²² Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
²³ By thy messengers thou hast reproached the LORD, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
²⁴ I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.
²⁵ Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

The question is why did GOD LISTEN to Hezekiah....and spare JERUSALEM.

Sennacherib.....

He made some claims that are similar to those made in Isaiah that were accredited to "THE PRINCE OF TYRE"/ THE FALLEN CHERUB who covered......

The battle was THE LORD'S.....not man's...

Don't mess with what is GOD'S....HE IS A JEALOUS GOD.

THE GOD OF VENGEANCE.

THE GOD OF RECOMPENSE.

THE GOD OF JUSTICE.

At least HE SAYS HE IS....

And when HE SPEAKS we...HIS SERVANTS are to LISTEN and OBEY.

Not rationalize, internalize, theorize, compromise....

No More Games

Bob told me that I don’t have to post this, but I really do, since what he wrote had a profound impact on me, and has provoked me to study hard about the bride of Christ. It is a hard word…. like a “Hai Karate” slap to the face. As the commercial said….”Thanks, I needed that!” Sometimes, we need to be comforted. Sometimes, we need to be slapped awake.

Bob informed me that he did not see or hear the broadcast on CBN. He was going from what had been written, and what had been coming up in his spirit. As I have already said, it is disturbing that there is such a difference that they, in effect, represent two entirely different words.

Dear WPA FAMILY,

THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT has been moving in my spirit in many different directions since early yesterday.

Although Stephen has my name on the WPA face page and i might have the "right" to post directly to the WPA i prefer to submit what i am placing before you through him. I recognize two things. First that it is Stephen that was raised up to do this work called the WPA.... no one else. Second is that Stephen has been given a specific task that the WPA is to fulfill. The last 48 hours has shown the real atmosphere that the "world" is under. Or should i say "america".

The WPA has no "perception" of THE BRIDE OF CHRIST. I do not say "church" for the simple reason is that church and religion are synonymous. According to THE WORD a "child" was born....a "SON" was given.... so that the "government" would rest upon HIS SHOULDERS. You should all recognize this as from the PROPHET ISAIAH. JESUS THE MESSIAH as John 3:16 proclaims came unto the whole world because of ABBA'S LOVE.

Yet HE stated clearly that when HE RETURNS the issue of FAITH would be in question. For the last several hours i have wrestled with the images of FAITH and THE BRIDE. My brother Mark Silbernagle has frequently reminded me that THE BRIDE is the primary FOCUS of THE KING OF KINGS. Why it is not "our's" speaking as a part of the WPA and HIS BODY, bothers me.

THE BRIDE is a reflection of THE BRIDEGROOM. It has three important attributes that HE IS.

IT IS HOLY.

IT IS ETERNAL.

IT IS UNIVERSAL.… ALL ENCOMPASSING.

I was told this by HIM long ago. But as i have watched the last few days i have been abruptly aware that the last ISSUE is what is not understood. The fact that HE keeps bringing me to the issue of separating THE SHEEP and THE GOATS and THE GREAT AND DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD is a warning that there are many who are in danger. RIGHT NOW....

Many who think they are "a chosen generation"..."the very elect"....

Something is very wrong in "THE KINGDOM" and something needs to be done. It would be nice if THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT would have raised up a JEREMIAH to stand on the wall and warn THE CITY... but HE HAS..........numerous.......and as a nation we are "isolationists" just like the PHARISEES.

WE are "elitist” just like the PHARISEES.

And like the PHARISEES and the SADDUCEES and the HERODIANS and the ZEALOTS there are too many subdivisions when "the coming together" has been prognosticated for years. The "shaking", "stirring", winnowing" has been spoken about for so long something should be happening. And like all the factions in ancient Israel we are divided by our own ideas of right and wrong with so little of THE TRUTH.

Tonight during the Fiesta Bowl ABC began "advertising" a program that will be broadcasted several weeks from now. The title clutched at my spiritman and has not let go.... the program is entitled "VERITAS.... THE QUEST"

May mean nothing to any of you.... but that is how this whole thing goes. I was struck with cold chills and had to turn off the TV because i was disgusted at myself for watching a football game when DEEP DARKNESS is upon the land. VERITAS is the LATIN term for TRUTH.

Are we all not on a QUEST for THE TRUTH....

THE WAY.... THE TRUTH...THE LIFE..........?????????

So here i am wondering how to deal with the people on the WPA that are playing games.... that are so caught up in "stuff" from all over the place when THE WORD says HIS SPIRIT IS POURED OUT ON ALL FLESH... why are the "WATCHMEN" not hearing THE CAPTAIN.... why are the "prophets" not discerning that "still small voice" for themselves. Jeremiah told us that ABBA said if we will call upon HIM, HE WOULD ANSWER ......… something is really wrong people when we "follow" hearsay and not HIS VOICE.

Does anyone hear the TRUMPET each time another post is added to the WPA headed by.... Alice Smith: A LOOK at 2003?

I do not "know" this woman, her "ministry".... don’t care.... all i know is that something is wrong in the whole message. Maybe you can glean a kernel or two from it. But in my spirit i have the strongest negative feedback i have sensed in a long time.

I cannot tell you exactly why.... not sure even if that is even important at this time.

What jumped out at me after slowly following the threads was a statement Sister MOUNTAIN FLOWER.... said.... and THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT jumped all up and down on me...she said "standing on THE WORD". And i am slammed with EPHESIANS 6.... and my CAPTAIN whispers to me...MY SHEEP DO NOT KNOW WHEN TO STAND AND WHEN TO WALK.... and as i type this i am once again standing on the hillside among the dead sheep...and right now...like Jeremiah i am crying because nothing HIS SERVANTS have said or done can change the outcome.

So many false voices...false prophets....then and now.

WE STAND in FAITH.... ON HIS WORD... but we also must WALK.... as HE LEADS....

David sang.... BLESSED IS THE MAN.... WHO DOES NOT WALK IN THE COUNCIL OF THE UNGODLY.... again in Ephesians Paul warns...

¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
¹² For it is a shame even to speak of those things, which are done of them in secret.
¹³ But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

For years i have had visions of THE SHEPHERD and HIS SHEEP. HE WARNED us that there would be WOLVES in SHEEP'S CLOTHING. Those who would endanger the sheep...rend and devour the sheep. But what does that mean in the "real" world. If a person or a ministry preaches "another gospel" is it because they are deceived.... or are they deceivers?

HE SAID my people perish for lack of "vision".... discernment.... the ability to clearly hear HIM.

So how can they follow if they don't hear HIS VOICE? And if they "walk" with the wrong crowd David said they would eventually

STANDS IN THE WAY OF SINNERS....

Failure to follow the SHEPHERD puts us into trouble for we cannot discern JESUS from THE LIE. In Hebrews we were warned...

¹¹ Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
¹² For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
¹³ For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
¹⁴ But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

False Teachers and False Prophets prosper because the "dull in hearing" cannot discern.....and the next thing you see DAVID warned would be those who.....

SIT WITH THE SCORNFUL.

Today there are many who are comfortably inhabitation this "SEAT" in many congregations...those who scorn and mock...

Jude 1
¹⁷ But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
¹⁸ How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
¹⁹ These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

So JUDE tells us that those who do not WALK in FAITH...who do not FOLLOW the SHEPHERD will WALK after their own ungodly lusts. David and Jude use the same word...UNGODLY.... and it is a SIGN of the LAST TIME...

There is a song that begins THERE IS A WAY THAT LEADS TO LIFE...and the goal is to find it. To follow it... to ZION...the place ABBA DWELLS.

We are to STAND...and we are to WALK....but to know as STEPHEN put it the WHEN, WHERE, HOW, and WHY of it all.

That answer comes also from ISAIAH...

Isaiah 30

¹⁵ For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

So there is a choice to make...but many will not make it....so what would be next........

²⁰ And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
²¹ And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
²² Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

THE LORD gives us the BREAD and the WATER...and maybe it is needed to "awaken the sleepers".

THE ROAD TO ZION is in the HEARTS of those who follow HIM...obey HIM. THE BRIDE has made herself ready... the Bridesmaids are another story. And maybe that is why i have written and prayed and wept this night.... for the five who will bring their oil...

The Passover And The Day Of Atonement

Dear Stephen and the WPA,

It has been a very interesting night in many ways. Yesterday was a very strange day with many facets. Amidst everything Stephen you placed several questions about shades and shadows, threads, images and patterns and sequences. At the end of post 7305 you asked......…

"Do you then argue Bob that the crucifixion of Jesus did not fulfill the Day of Atonement. If so, what event in the future would fulfill it? " Now i did not think i was refuting anything except Mr Wyatt's stretch of the imagination. Was i trying to create an argument of any sort? Stephen, it was not my intent.

John the IMMERSER said....BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD. Many would say that is a direct reference to the DAY OF ATONEMENT. Only it is not. Within the whole system of sacrifice that GOD instructed MOSES there is a specific SIN OFFERING....also called a TRESPASS OFFERING. But we all know that the Tabernacle and the "belief system" created in the desert was a "type" and "shadow". Like the FEASTS were pointing to SOMETHING ELSE yet to come. That "YET TO COME" is something else. It is a "PERSON"....an individual....a MESSIAH...a SUFFERING SERVANT...a KING OF GLORY...A LION....A LAMB.…

Now the religious system was just a template people walked through year by year. A religious "belief system" that people followed year in and year out. But what is interesting is that when said people could not "fulfill" this "belief system" they "SUBSTITUTED" for it...replaced it...with something else. SO....when the system GOD instructed HIS PEOPLE TO FOLLOW was implausible or impossible man exchanged THE TABERNACLE / TEMPLE....which belonged to GOD for SYNAGOGS...."sacrifice" for "a rabbinical denomination".

HEBREWS 10 puts it into perspective.…

1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The Old Testament system basically brought "covered" to man's sins...not forgiveness. Likewise the DAY OF ATONEMENT was in essence an annual contract requiring renewal each and every year. In verse 10 the term i used several times yesterday shows up again...SANCTIFIED.…

My firm belief is that ABBA was never happy with killing animals....whether it was to get the animal skins to cover the nakedness caused by SIN in the GARDEN....or the lamb ABLE saw as his FIRST FRUITS unto THE LORD. So why did HE ACCEPT "burnt offerings" from NOAH? Tell JOB'S "friends" to beg JOB to sacrifice for them? The whole DEUTERONOMY, LEVITICUS, NUMBERS "religious system" that warped and expanded over time to be what the PHARISEES ESPOUSED LONG AND LOUDLY,,,,.....and JESUS detested?

Could there be a difference between what GOD INTENDED and MAN ESTABLISHED? Are we talking about 2000 years ago....or today? Was HEBREWS 10 just a blank condemnation of a religious belief system....or is there more to it?

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Actually it is a WITNESS for JESUS...sound INSTRUCTION in THE NEW COVENANT..…

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

In verse 25 we see the classic "assembling of ourselves together" which many say is the same as going to a specific church on a weekly basis. In the original greek the term "assembling" is a term used in architecture and construction. As in being "fitted together"...assembled according to manufacturer's instructions....we get the term "edification" the same way....to

"BUILD". As in edifice....which is an archaic term. But popular for obvious reasons.

26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

From verse 1 through 25 we have stuff everyone can be sort of comfortable with. Verse 25 is probably the most quoted but what follows it seldom is. Verse 26 brings up another term i kept running into yesterday...THE TRUTH...to be exact.... "the knowledge of THE TRUTH. Now the AUTHOR of Hebrews says "if we SIN WILLFULLY after...."...we come into understanding THE TRUTH. Now there is a price for disobedience in the OLD TESTAMENT...read Deuteronomy 28.…

But many say that the NEW COVENANT has no recompense for sin....even willful sin....once saved always saved. Is a very popular teaching to many. But scripture does not line up with it.…

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

One of the greatest sermons ever recorded has been brought down to us from over 200 years ago where Jonathon Edwards built powerfully on verse 31. Many say GOD will not judge HIS PEOPLE. How they got that revelation is a matter of conjecture. There once was a time where "fire and brimstone" preaching was a norm where the idea was to scare people into heaven. It worked for many...or so it would seem. But lately things changed. Christianity shifted.…

In Hebrews 10:32 it almost seems the author was talking to the church of SMYRNA....a persecuted church that Paul admonished to REJOICE, AND 
AGAIN I SAY REJOICE.…

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

The persecuted CHURCH was THE CHURCH....in the time of THE BOOK OF ACTS. Through most of the world HIS CHURCH still is persecuted. Paul told Timothy to be a GOOD SOLDIER....putting up with all the nasty things a soldier faces every day. Likewise Paul instructed the Church in Ephesus to put on a LEGIONNAIRE'S ARMOR....daily....so we could STAND....HOLD...against the attacks of the enemy. RETREAT...FALLING BACK was not an option Paul discussed. Neither did the author in Hebrews.…

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

To retreat from THE TRUTH as it is revealed...has been revealed...leads to "perdition"..… again a "term" seldom used today. But it has meaning.

Now you may ask what any of this has to do with the DISCUSSION OF whether THE CRUCIFIXION met the criteria of THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. The answer simply is no. Long ago i studied the PASSOVER. How THE LAMB was to be SLAIN....and prepared for cooking. THE LAMB HAD TO BE EATEN....every bit....none could remain. THE BLOOD WAS TO COVER THE DOOR....painted on with a branch of HYSSOP. The IMAGERY of THE PASSOVER is stupefying in it's totality. For 12 years i celebrate it and each year i am awed by the things i learn that i had failed to "perceive" previously.

But Passover is "easy" because it already happened...TWICE....the shadow in EGYPT… the real thing in JERUSALEM.

YOM KIPPUR is another story....yes for 3500+ years it has been an annual requirement....but to look ahead to what will shortly be is something else. Not long ago i wrote to the WPA about THE SIMPLICITY OF CHRIST....in ESSENCE the REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST is purposefully simple....in it's FOUNDATION. Now what is BUILT UPON IT is the EDIFICE we can only see as through a glass darkly. Again some see according to the "measure we are given".....…

but it is also upon that "measure" we each will be required to account for.

THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB upon our doorpost keep THE DEATH ANGEL AWAY....GOD'S ANGEL.…

20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Now i love "language"...how terms come together....even when the original expressions are 4000 years old and our "translation" is 400 years young. Above in read letters is a bit of GOD talking/instructing Moses.…

it comes from EXODUS 23.…

Verse 20....I WILL SEND AN ANGEL(MESSENGER...SERVANT....SON)....to KEEP you in THE WAY.…

"I AM THE WAY...THE TRUTH....and THE LIFE...." HE will BRING YOUSE ALL INTO "THE PLACE PREPARED

BY ME".....JOHN 14....if we can believe JESUS there is a place prepared.…but John 14 talks about LOVING and OBEYING....too.… VERSE 21 says.… BEWARE.… OBEY.… PROVOKE HIM NOT....HE WILL NOT PARDON YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS
because "MY NAME IS IN HIM".....BEHOLD MY BELOVED SON....HEAR HIM.…

VERSE 22 says if you obey HIS VOICE AND DO WHAT I SPEAK.…

John 5

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life

John 14
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

Let's end with verse 25 and the BREAD OF LIFE and THE LIVING WATER.… Just 6 verses from the OLD TESTAMENT....and how many images and verses from THE NEW.…

In John 5 JESUS HIMSELF says this is so...and a whole lot more…

Funny how JESUS finishes John 5....the PHARISEES did not "believe" MOSES.…

The BIG TORAH THUMPERS did not really believe what they were PREACHING. So what did they BELIEVE IN....their religion...their "BELIEF SYSTEM"....and if i can be crude… their "BS" that they demanded everyone else to follow. Yet if "the scriptures" are a "testimony" of THE MESSIAH JESUS there is something to them. Something the professional clergy and religious types are missing. Maybe something so simple that men wise in their own eyes can not see.

Purim will begin on March 17....Passover follows....WHY?

Maybe there is an IMAGE here...maybe a PATTERN....or even a SEQUENCE OF EVENTS.

ABBA SAID....LET US REASON TOGETHER....seems like a discussion.…

Here THE LORD GOD says HE WILL RESTORE ""JUDGES"" and ""COUNCILORS" ".....selah....but HE GOES ON…

27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.
31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

Verse 27 speaks of ZION...and her CONVERTS...interesting...i guess ABBA asked us to come and talk with HIM for a reason...so we would be reconciled and returned to a RELATIONSHIP with HIM....HE GAVE US HIS FEASTS TO TEACH US....to be a WITNESS to us...that speaks THE TRUTH...THE WHOLE TRUTH....and nothing but JESUS..…

i am open to any and all discussion that centers around JESUS....who isn't?

16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

The Simplicity of Christ

Dear Stephen,

So far i have read your thoughts on THE BRIDE and our sister’s from "down under" Cheryl. I also have read the comments by Sisters Laura, Brenda, and Stephanie. Like you Stephen i have seen THE BRIDE whenever i see people simply doing as THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT leads them when helping others. Whenever a believer simply submits to the leading of GOD, the AUTHORITY of JESUS...a see THE BRIDE.

Sr Cheryl shared with us what Paul said in 2 Corinthians....

"For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, of if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel, which you have not accepted - you may well put up with it!" (2 Cor. 11:2-4)

I do not remember Paul speaking of any "personal" fear as he speaks here.

The issue is "deception" that the "minds" of the believers are in danger of being "corrupted" from what he calls "THE SIMPLICITY OF CHRIST". Strange concept. Yet i have heard this warning many times from ABBA...."KEEP IT SIMPLE SON".....

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS should be extremely simple for it was intended for SHEEP and CHILDREN. Paul points toward the direction this "corruption" will come. First there are those who "preach another JESUS". A gospel Paul, Peter, James, John and all the disciples did not preach. Second there would be a "different spirit" than the ONE PROMISED BY JESUS. JESUS said HE would SEND THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT....to bring REMEMBRANCE OF JESUS to those who "would follow". Third and last is a "different gospel".

What we have is a "DIFFERENT" "Jesus", "spirit", and "gospel". All three work together to bring one thing, "CORRUPTION". And all three originate with THE SERPENT. And once again i find myself in Ephesians 6. We all know this as THE WHOLE ARMOR chapter. Personally i am tired of the many messages that talk about "putting" on THE ARMOR.… going over each piece.... BUT never dealing with WHY we are to be armored and carrying THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

¹³ Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

STAND...WITHSTAND...to not fall to/or fall under the "WILES OF THE DEVIL"..... i suppose this is what most people feel is "SPIRITUAL WARFARE"....or "DOING BATTLES IN THE HEAVENLIES".... all it is really is being unmoved by the TRICKERY of THE ENEMY.... and the ONLY way to do that is to firmly grounded on THE ROCK.

James puts it very clearly....i could say "resist the devil and he will flee".... but that misses the point James, an Apostle, was trying to teach....and i believe he was serving a whole lot of "solid meat" in 17 verses....

James 4
¹ From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

Here we can see James alluding to the "ungodly lusts" Jude mentions. Those who follow a "different spirit" "walk" in these lusts...

² Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

I believe James here is saying that there are those who have not asked JESUS into their HEARTS and LIVES. People can be carnal Christians because they will not let their old man die.

³Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

(Simon the Sorcerer wanted what the Disciples had....for all the wrong reasons. He asked amiss. If the desire for ministry gets in front of serving JESUS, we ask wrongly.)

⁴ Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

I think we can all understand this...or do we.…

⁵ Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

The "oldman" again. He does not want to "die". It is a battle in ourselves. But we are not alone…

⁶ But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Grace is "sufficient" and is ours if we only ask and are willing to be HUMBLE...BROKEN… Remember "if my people...."? the first, and hardest step is to "humble themselves".…

⁷ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

I am sorry....but verse 7 has three specific steps....

FIRST is we must be submitted to GOD....under covenant....desiring to serve HIM ALONE.

Second is when we RESIST....as in STAND....not to give in or submit.

Third we see the devil will FLEE.... JESUS resisted the devil three times by using THE WORD OF GOD....THE LOGOS... IT IS WRITTEN.

And there is a bonus benefit when we STAND...RESIST.…

⁸ Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

As we come to GOD, HE comes closer to us. Call this INTIMACY...call it REVELATION ....but it can only start with calling upon JESUS and "dying"....to be humble...broken.…

⁹ Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

To me this is being serious to the prompting of THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT..... to pick up the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT and to pray as ABBA desires....not as man suggests or directs.

¹⁰ Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

GOD LIFTS UP.....when man elevates man there is a problem. Many people look up to a man thinking they are seeing what GOD WANTS THEM TO SEE. They have been told that often enough.…

¹¹ Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Now this is a difficult passage when you are dealing with a wide group of people.

To many the term "to speak evil" means to speak in any form of "negative" commentary.

If i disagree with someone and voice an opinion they can perceive it as "evil" simply because i fail to agree with them. Now if i call people names and then make accusations that are groundless, frivolous, or deceptive in any way....... Then i would be doing what James is referring to..."speaking evil". In doing this i have "judged" someone else. And acting as an executioner by "killing them" with my words.

James is telling us to be "doers" and not "judges".

¹² There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Many like the stick of "legalistic" and wave it well. The problem with/of THE LAW is that GOD gave man THE LAW. HE is the ONE who SAVES....and DESTROYS.... We have spoken of coming JUDGMENT. GOD'S JUDGMENT.... Which makes the next verses interesting…
¹³ Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

¹⁴ Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

¹⁵ For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

Many "Christians" have made """"PLANS"""....in their lives, professions, ministries and the simple warning of what is to come can upset them. For this reason the "church" in many of it's divisions, denominations, congregations can not/will not accept the idea that THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT can/will/does SPEAK to ABBA'S CHILDREN.

¹⁶ But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Now this is scary because i have listened to such boastings by "people" who claim positions in the church.

¹⁷ Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

When one "hears" THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT and fails to obey. When one knows right from wrong and chooses to do wrong we have what the scripture calls "iniquity". Seems i have "HEARD" that term all too often of late.

So to understand the Simplicity of Christ we must KNOW HIM.....HE SAID....

²⁸ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

HE SAYS we are to learn of HIM as we walk side by side with HIM....YOKED TOGETHER.

That is as simple as it gets.

You can still see these words in the catacombs under the city of Rome. In the simple LATIN VULGATE it means THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE. These WORDS were placed there by a people really oppressed. Persecuted in mass for the "entertainment" of the masses. They had THE BLESSED HOPE in a way we may soon learn. In the midst of affliction they had a WAY out...to LIFE.

THE TRUTH

Sometimes we forget that to get to ABBA it is only through HIS SON.

But THE SON SAYS that there are many who will face HIM on the DAY OF JUDGMENT and be utterly amazed that HE NOT ONLY DENIES KNOWING THEM, but will condemn them to the ETERNAL TORMENT that, and let me quote this from the KING JAMES....the end of Matthew 25....RED LETTERS....

⁴¹ Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
⁴² For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
⁴³ I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
⁴⁴ Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
⁴⁵ Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
⁴⁶ And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

The devil and his angels...the fallen ones. Who masquerade as "angels of light". Yes i have seen and heard both holy angels and fallen angels in the place called THE VALLEY OF VISION. But one thing i learned quickly, even holy angels step aside when THE LORD speaks, and stand silent.

The ANCIENT OF DAYS told GABRIEL to speak to DANIEL. Likewise the visits to Mary and Zacharias were direct from ABBA. As for recent visitations i have no comment outside of judging trees by their fruit.

Yesterday i "read" about a coming "war of WORSHIP" and heard MY MASTER say... "THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD". This statement did not bother me because HE IS THE LORD. And i saw no problem of HIS making reference as to HIMSELF and the 40 OLD TESTAMENT references to THE LORD fighting on behalf of HIS COVENANT people.

In the NEW TESTAMENT we are only to STAND...that is the ESSENCE of Ephesians 6.

But the "gauntlet" was cast when the "image" of worship came forward and when you put WORSHIP and TRUTH together you gotta go to the well....

John 4

²¹ Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
²² Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
²³ But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
²⁴ God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
²⁵ The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
²⁶ Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Please notice the term "MUST" in verse 24....THE TRUE WORSHIPPER....MUST WORSHIP.... with the long hard "walks" i have made in the last few days all coming together through THE LOGOS and THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT i am assured IN HIM who is my WAY, my TRUTH and my LIFE.

In the GREEK the term JESUS spoke...WORSHIP...is "proskuneo"...is used eight times... it means "to KISS...as a dog licking the MASTER'S HAND''.... So i say to all of you...

¹² Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.

Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Unless you are willing to be one of HIS DOGS...selfless and utterly in love with HIM as only a dog can....you are playing games with eternity. For THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT has taken me on a walk with five "virgins'' who have no oil for their lamps. THE MASTER calls them "foolish"....

I never saw the depths of that statement.

Matthew 25
¹ Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
² And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
³ They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
⁴ But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
⁵ While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
⁶ And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

People...THE BRIDEGROOM is coming...too many are asleep and unaware that they are "fools". In the last 24 hours i have been reminded of many things that point back to the "times" and "preparations" for what was called "Y2K''....or "THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT...".

In all those preparations i was always brought back to two scriptures....

Proverbs 22
² The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
³ A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
⁴ By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.

Proverbs 27
¹¹ My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
¹²A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.

As i shared YESTERDAY....in JOB 33 ABBA SPEAKS TO US NOT ONCE...BUT TWICE....in dreams and visions.

Jeremiah 33
¹ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
² Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
³ Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
⁴ For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
⁵ They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

It is not funny that all this has come together....GOD SPEAKS TWICE....and the CHALDEANS.... They say it is 2003....okay...in acknowledgement to Dr JR Church and Gary Stearman....

Foolish virgins .....why are they foolish....they do not fear THE LORD....they will not learn...

They have no OIL....remember Jude and the scorners and mockers?

They do not HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT. THEY DO NOT HAVE INTIMACY WITH THE SON... THEY ARE NOT HIS DOGS.... HIS SERVANTS....HIS BRIDE.... THEY ARE PLAYING GAMES WITH ETERNITY..... and many of them are leading others to destruction. Let me share two last incidents of GOD SPEAKING TWICE....or maybe we need a third witness....so be it.

Now look and see how THE WORD PROGRESSES when HIS WARNINGS go unheeded.

Jeremiah 6

¹⁴ They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
¹⁵ Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
¹⁶ Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

People who do not FEAR THE LORD have no WISDOM.... no TRUTH is in them.... and as Mark Silbernagle has just reminded me....

¹⁰ And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
¹¹ And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
¹² That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
