Red Flags: The Spirit Of Deception

There are many “storms” that can be seen or horizon. On this faze specific warnings will come forward on specific are as to regard the end of this summer we shall se more of the same “storms” that we have seen in the past. But because of the funneling of our remaining time, they will seem to becoming much more frequently, and in gaining severity. Let us look at the storms that Jesus warned about, and how the world situation fits. Or should I say-comes together. These warnings stem from the gospel of Matt. 24:

Chapter 24

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

“Take heed that no man deceive you.” Deception is the key word in all things, in America today. From our marketing strategies to our political process. “promise them anything, and they will take what you give them”. “Bait and Switch.” The bigger the lie, the louder you say it, the easier for them to buy it. “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Never give a sucker an even break. Whatever happened to the fact that “You can never cheat an “honest” man.” To believe a lie, you will have to have walked away from the truth. Truth-Justice-The American Way! Yo -Clark Kent! Only I thought that truth and justice was “ American Way.” It once was. Then we turned away from God. We are about to reap the seeds that were sown over the last thirty years. Oh Lord, have mercy on us. Isaac 59:

Chapter 59

1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

5 They hatch cockatriceí eggs, and weave the spiderís web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seedís seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. Because of the storm of deception, all the following storms will either be more or less unanticipated, but little preparation will be made. For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ, and shall deceive many. (v5) Today the most profitable infomercials are the so called Psychic 1-900 businesses. People want to know what the future holds. No more now than in the Ancient Times. Yet even in a modern technologically adapt society the desire to know what the future may hold leads us to the same sources of “information” as those God warned up against. “Consorting with the spirits” held both a strong fascination and an aerie apprehension.

Yet today the ideal of dialing a “psychic” or going to a “channeller” as entertainment. Today’s techno-sorcerer is in no way different than Balaam. Only the charge is placed on your credit card by the “telephone” people who created the 1-900 marketing strategy. In the world today are numerous “christs”. People who declare that they have the only or best answers. Some have large and extensive following, but most are small and localized. Yet their whole power base comes from their power, authority, or revelation. In most cases the only common thread is their string of deception. They provide a need in the lives of those who follow and build trust and dependence upon which all further deceptions are initiated. That is both their strength, and their danger.

“11 And” Matt 24:11

The original Greek word for false prophet is “pseudo”. Prophets of fake “anointing”, religious impostures whose power comes from other spirits. Jesus speaks of these “spirits” as either “foul”, or “unclean”. Titles less attractive than the medial would like us to either know or understand. Yet we are warned three specific times “deception.” Deception that comes “new”, verse 4. Deception that comes from false “Christs”, false religious leaders, false Messiahs, verse 5. And again, deception from “false prophets.” Men who will lead and teach from the power of spirits unholy, verse 11. Once again we need to look at John’s words, I John 4:3:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

The Greek word for Anti-Christ is simply Antichristo. To modern thinkers “anti” means against. Yet in the ancient Greek anti usually meant “ in place of.” The spirit of Anti-Christ was a counterfeit anointing meant to deceive and supplant. John simply states that his spirit was in the world and working against the Spirit of the Living God, nearly 2000 years ago. So, this spirit of false christs, false prophets has been moving and working for the same time the Spirit of the Living God has moved among man. For that reason is

Matt. 24:11 we are warned, “and because inequity shall abound, the love of many wax cold.” Inequity is an old word for lawlessness, it speaks of a time in man’s history where laws and rules will be despised and ignored. At the same time “love” will be growing colder. There will be a day when cold hearted lawlessness prevails. Modern man calls this concept, “socio paths”, and our modern educational system has been blamed for creating a generation of “socio paths.” Jesus goes on to reinforce these points in verses

“23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo,” Matt 24:23 & 24

He repeats the warning of false christ and false prophets with miraculous abilities whose sole purpose is to deceive mankind. In fact the magnitude and spectacle would deceive the “very elect”.

“25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if”

Verses 25 & 26 speak of a point in time where people will chase after these deceptions. While deception alone is a major key in all the warnings that Jesus gives in the prophecies in Matt. 24, specifically in North America deception is more defuse than specific. While the media often speaks of cults and mind-controlling charismatic leaders, the prevalence of large cults is more oriental than accidental. While many gurus have come to the “new world” and caught up many in their nets of deception, their numbers and strength stay in their place of origin.

Most Americans (and Canadians) still have too much “rugged individualism” to throw “everything” away and follow anything blindly. Again, there are many cults and sects across the world. There always has been. Selfishness and materialism have proven themselves as affective insulation to some of the moves of the spirit of deception. For that reason, deception(s) are becoming more numerous and more beguiling. And again we must look at the twin powers of media and entertainment to see what the present and future moves of the spirit of deception. At one time the media was primarily for the purpose of information/education. The founding fathers called the source of American Journalism, the “Fourth Estate.” An “unofficial branch” of the American Governmental System based on the “Freedom of the Press” to inform the populace concerning the plans and actions of their elected official. Remember the so called “System of Checks and Balance”? How does it “fare” today, 200 years since the conception of Government, of...by...for...the people? As years have changed the face of American Democracy Technology has changed the “press” to “media”, all inclusive. And in the “spirit” of capitalism the “media” responds to the call of financial rather than social responsibility.

As the concept of media was conceived, so was the ideal of market share, and corporate take over. There is no truly independent voice in today’s “media” that exists entirely for the goal to inform the public freely and without bias. Likewise the ideal of education can be defined as more propaganda and sales pitch according to that same spirit of capitalism. Editorial content today is more focused to “shape” public opinion rather than merely inform the public. The media “spins” information beyond the simple documentation and distribution of facts to the consuming public. Most media leaders have openly stated that their goal was to create the story, rather than to report the story. Here lies the root of deception in our media.

Corporate ownership of American media believes the unwashed multitudes incapable of self determination to search the goals of corporate power. The goals of the people are not the goals of power, therefore the people must be changed. Therefore deception is not merely required, but is the only method that can work. For that reason media will be always taking a liberal, one world position on most issues. There is no free press in the land of the free. There is no fourth estate to protect informed public from government intent. But let’s go beyond the media to the level of entertainment industry, and a deeper, more blatant level of deception. To do so let us divide the world of entertainment into three categories, music, television, and cinema. Music in America has evolved over the years to include every guru and form. Criticism for changes in American music is not new. In the mid 1800’s Stephen Foster and his songs were condemned because they were simple and unsophisticated, in comparison to the European styles. At the turn of the century “Ragtime” music was cheap and frivolous. Foster’s music began today’s Pop and Country style of music. Ragtime and “Gospel” berthed R&B, Jazz, and Rock. Hard to believe? Just look back over 150 years and it seems obvious.

Yet deception is not the alleviation of music. Changes in music structure and format was a product of a changing nation, deception has nearly road it’s coat tails. Spiritual Deception goes back a long way in American Music. Yes, suggestive “lyrics” seem to be prevalent, but are far from new. Don’t start pointing fingers at John Lennen or Mick Jagger or Madonna... If you want to get “critical” for the fun of it, look back to Elvis, go back to Frank Sinatra, go back to Cab Calloway, go back to Gilbert & Sullivan, go back to Oftenbach, Mozart, Pope Gregory and his Chant. Get the drift?

“Suggestive” has been with us a long, long time. That is because this battle with deception goes back to a lady called Eve, in the Garden. But today we have stepped beyond the level of “suggestive” to the level of blatant. Blatantly deceptive, no hardly. Try blatantly demonic. Grandma and Grandpa were upset by Elvis’ gyrations and The Beetles hairstyle. Deception of Lyrical content is when Tipper Gore got vocal about songs that spoke about “sex” and “violence.” Good old Tipper, where was Al and your friends Bill and Hillary when you stepped “forward for decency.”? Poor Tipper got people aroused, and counted. Then she sort of vanished, seen her lately? But Mrs. Gore, why didn’t you speak more about “Gothic” lyrics, blood rock lyrics, satanic rock lyrics. Why complain about Pop/Rock /R&B/Country that pushes adultery, alcohol, drugs... in one way or another?

“You can’t see a song unless it appeals to something that appeals to our lesser nature! Really? Not! That is deception. But if it is the guideline to those in the business of making and selling “music”. Expect it to sink to it’s lowest levels. This same level of thinking runs the television industry. If something works, run it into the ground. Phil & Oprah got ratings, flood the market with cheap, liberal talk shows. One situation comedy works, copy it. Until the public gets sick on it all. People want information, so they begin to watch “60 minutes” and “20/20”. Put solid, intelligent information on each week, and the ratings began to rise.

Suddenly a “new” format became popular and profitable after several years. Now each night you have a “news” program. Once again “media” agenda rises up and propaganda begins to flow. And so comes deception. If you can push “ideals” into the story line of comedies and dramas then maybe you can create the whole program around the “ideal” you were pushing. Deception has again become blatant.

Let’s take it one step farther. Put news format informational programs on the phenomenal and the mysterious whole special programs and series on deception, both subtle and blatant. Desensitize the people by giving an appearance of control while categorically denying credence and capability. Yet the public absorbs the massive amounts of “information” that is meant do deceive and to lull our senses. In speaking on music and television we have kept things general.

In the future specific “Red Flags” will be hoisted at specific deceptions as they arise. Concerning deceptions in the Cinema, we shall be most specific now! Like American Music and American Television, American Movies are and have been the pattern for the world. These three juggernauts of American culture have penetrated every continent, nation, tribe, and clan in today world. So pervasive are they outside of North America that the whole world views America by these three “images” we deliver to them. From a world’s eye view the oldest and most enticing is Cinema.

The presentation of American Lifestyle, morals, political views and religious values give Third world citizens a very distorted view of “real” America. The problem lies in what is the “Real America.” Like their brethren in television, the Cinematic peers openly try to shape thinking rather than describe it. From it’s origin, Cinema was the reverse of television. Television was news, then entertainment followed. Cinema was entertainment, until the powers understood the craving of the people for entertainment. Such is/was the creation of propaganda in the 1930’s.

We blame the German people of serving the monstrous plats of Adolph Hitler. But it started in Hollywood and today is highly tuned and efficient. In an earlier message the question of prophetic content was discussed. Is the modern prophet the Stephen Kings’ and the Steven Spielburg’s of Hollywood? Maybe yes, and maybe no. Brothers King and Spielberg are truly the pinnacle of their art forms, yet are they not more. The prophet King’s work includes many allusions that border on life and cross it occasionally. His classic works The Stand the Dead Zone, Firestarter speak of government chicanery on different levels and apocalyptic results along the way. The Prophet Spielburg has created classic as well as box officer winners. Alien benevolence as espoused in ET and Encounters of the Third Kind has been marred by more recent movies. The past Shindler’s List seem to look ahead as easily as it looks back.

One amazing fact is in the combined week of Stephen Spielburg, Frances Ford George Lucas are three powerful profitable trilogies that make us look into ourselves and beyond ourselves. The Godfather Trilogy looked back to the creation of a “typical” American family taking root in the “New World”. Sounds good, until you see the family business. The famous motto of crime doesn’t was placed in serious doubt. In The Indiana Jones Trilogy Archeological treasures where the focus. Or where they? What does a Jewish Arc, a Hindu Stone, and a Christian Cup have in common? All gave “power” to the holder, or so they claimed. That leads us to the Star Wars Trilogy, where the “Force” tied all three neatly together. Good vs evil, the common struggle since the dawn of time, Hollywood style. Yet Hollywood’s style tends to show the vulnerability of good. While the prophets King, Lucas, Spielburg usually conclude with good victorious, it is at a cost. Lesser lights in the pit called Hollywood are not so generous. The line between Hero and Villain runs very thing to the point good does not survive the “battle”. The appeal of the gad guys is increased, the defenders of good are insipid and petty.

Does it give you a sense of wrongness when you catch yourself routing for the Villain to beat the hero? Do you feel relieved when the so called good guy fails or is destroyed? We Americans love the Heroic, especially if his feet are of clay. Most of our heroes were not bigger than life. They merely rare to the occasion. From Douglas Fairbanks and Tom Mix to Bruce Willis and Arnold, we routed for the good guy. From Errol Flynn to Sean Connory we esteemed equally the handsome and the daring. But today every story has a message, and every message lately has a point of deception. Sometimes very subtlety, but more often fairly blatant. And blatant seems to be the key for this summer’s crop of vacation entertainment.

“Film imitates life”. Make it from a prophetic standpoint and “film describes what life may soon be.” So far this summer we have had “Twister” both in our multiplex theaters, and throughout 17 states. “Mission Impossible” talks about treachery and ruthless actions within “our” government “police” agency.

“The Rock” is taking terrorism to a high-tech degree with American style. The government still seems to be blamed. Two movies one out today, another due out July 3rd are based upon aliens and UFO’s “The Arrival” is about those among us already ID 4 or “Independence Day” is about those coming. They do not appear to share ET’s gentle heart. ID4 appears to be the best and most hyped of all the summer moves. Also it is the most troubling to my spirit and all I have seen are small bites. Tantalizing, yet troubling.

Finally there are two obvious sources of deception. “The Craft” and “Dragonheart” show us two extremes of the spirit of deception. “The Craft” is blatantly occultism and violent. “Dragonheart” is subtle and appealing compared to “The Craft”. Yet it’s message is straight out of the pit. The dragon is not evil, evil came from man. The Garden of Eden, with a subtle twist. As this summer moves to fall look for all these themes to be played out upon the world stage. Storms from nature, and from government. Old spirits and what may look like new - but are still old. So watch as the flags are raised.

In the Modern Media “wars and rumors of wars” is big business. Only in the present technology could we see “war” as it were a sporting event with both “play by play” reporting and “color” commentary. In 1991 we had the preview of all previews in the Gulf War. On the spot commentary, not of the after affects of war. But to announce the soon arrival of scud missiles.

In the book of Daniel we have a double inclusive prophecy.

4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

The Prophet Daniel is told that the book he was in the process of completing was a “closed” book, sealed to the “Time of the End”. vs 9 instructs him to go his way “for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end”.

Historically, and currently to many, Daniel is a book both obscure and frightening to most people. Yet serious scholars have studied it and respected it. Many though refused to accept it on face value and have denied its authenticity. To the point of ignoring that the Teacher, Himself quoted it in Matt. 24:15.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769..

Yet Daniel in totality, was never completely closed.

In the 2nd Chapter of Matthew we have an interesting story.

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. The King James Version,.

Three Magi, men of wisdom who came from the East, looking for the newly born king. We all know this old Christmas story and can sing along to “We Three Kings”...But did you wonder why they knew? Because they knew the Torah and the Book of Belteshazzar. Belteshazzar was the greatest of the scholar/prophets of ancient Babylon. But we know him by his Hebrew name, Daniel. So when these ancient scholars counted the days, from Daniel 9:20-27.

And when that time came to its point of culmination, they watched, and saw a sign. The sign given by the sorcerer Balaam in Number 24:17 (*). “A Star out of Jacob” was seen; and the Magi hit the road. First to Jerusalem, and then to Bethlehem, just as prophesied by the Prophet Micah 5:2 (*)

A fourth wise man, so to speak come out of 15th Century England. Sir Isaac Newton, mathematician, scholar, believer, wrote an extensive study of the Book of Daniel. As modern scholars “open” the Book of Daniel, much of what Sir Isaac stated over 420 years ago has been validated. To the point where the caveat the Most High gave to Daniel in Ancient Babylon, “knowledge shall be increased”, and “many shall run to and fro”, is now completed.

“Wars and rumors of wars”, especially the rumors, are most evident in today’s instantaneous knowledge transfer of media. Not only see it as it happens, but see it before it happens! Modern News specialists are news speculators, watching the “sky” as surely as you who read it.

If you seek evidence to this fact, remember the landing of American troops in Somalia, Hatti, and Bosnia. Before the “marines hit the beach”, the media was waiting to film it live. Just for us.

Jokes from inside the military include: “It took 40 minutes of troop landings of military personal to equal the number of Americans waiting on the beach.” There were more foreign media in Somalia at any given time, than the number of Blue Berets (UN Troops) at the same time.” And finally, “The media-types spent more money talking “about” the famine in Somalia from Somalia was used to purchase the food delivered there.”

“Wars and Rumors of wars”, “nations shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom” has been a major source of “end time” preaching for centuries. And predictably this time of “nearly global peace” is the most violent period of a most violent century. Today violent rumors are stirring in over 120 areas of the world, if we can believe CNN and the UN. Yet everyone is still talking peace. Peace in Bosnia, peace in Ireland, peace in Georgia, Rhuwanda, Korea, Tiwann, Cambodia (Khemer?} Sri Lanka, Indonesia, etc., etc.

And the body count keep rising...

And more people are suffering...

Many have preached on “Nation” coming from the Greek word “Ethnos”, meaning “race”, “tribe”, “nation.” In this century mankind rose up as one (so to speak) against a common evil. The temporary halt to Nazi-Fascism was not an act of global altruism. It was a series of act of desperation and survival. Redacted History not withstanding, the author of the Holocaust was not a national hero gone wrong. He was a demonically controlled puppet that brought death and pain to over 80% of the world’s people. The next one who is about to step on the world scene shall not miss anyone.

“Ethnos”, ethnic violence, war, etc. is as old as mankind, and is making news daily. Whether it is tribal warfare in Rhuwanda or Burma, it is still the same, in too many ways. Bosnia gave us the term “ethnic cleansing”, but it is only a phrase. It has been practiced by many national leaders, to varying degrees. Remember Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Pharaoh, and Domitian.

In upcoming we will speak on specific places of active war, and wherever “sabre rattling” is too obvious. But let’s take a second look at the words of Jesus and look beyond the accepted thoughts.

“Kingdom against Kingdom”; is usually not developed by those eager to launch out against social and ethnic causes. In the Greek, Kingdom comes from “Basileia,” “rule, realm, kingdom, base of power.” Have you ever heard this taught, preached, discussed? I thought not. “War”, “Race”, “Ethnic” are solid buzz words and easy buttons to push. But the deepest truth lies in “kingdoms”.

Each day passes where great battles are won and lost as kingdoms in conflict strive for ascendance. In the “realm” of finance, the attacks occurs on the trading floors of stock and commodity markets. Whole champagnes are created and defenses formed in corporate board rooms. Kingdoms are “attacked and conquered” or are “surrounded and assimilated.” Local financial warlords, venture out into the national scene, where survival and success are synonymous. Those that do so then venture onto the Global Scene, moving and shaking, all that they many conquer.

In the “realm” of technology both corporations and nations strive for eminence. Years ago the National Security Council announced that “Soviet” KGB had dismantled, but the new Russia had more intelligence operations in the United States than ever before. Only they were not snooping into government secrets, but into corporate R&D. Along with operations from Japan, Germany, Israel, England, and China ...

Knowledge and Technology = Power.

In the realm of agronomy we may find the most unusual war taking place. America, the “Bread Basket of Freedom” has 80%of it’s agricultural product controlled by Multi-National Corporations. Said financial giants also control almost all of the exportable produce of the world as a whole. That gives them great “leverage” in the battles of kingdoms.

Red Flags: “Pestilence, Reborn”

Matt 24:9

A year ago a movie called “Outbreak” came out, and the character Ebola nearly stole the show, literally. There are many people who say it was just a movie - “It can’t happen here”. That is one face of the spirit of deception. On the other hand there are people I know who dread going into any public area for fear of “contamination”. That is the big brother to deception. The spirit of fear moves freely while the spirit of deception slinks in the shadows.

While I have mentioned that our modern high tech, instantaneous knowledge - media is a major tool of deception. It is a standard weapon in the arsenal of the spirit of fear. The spirits of fear and deception move hand and hand destroying and crippling the lives of people by twisting knowledge to their use.

Point of proof, “Mad Cow Disease”. While in the category of pestilence, it will also fit the category of famine. “Mad Cow Disease” is a name given to a disease called  It is real disease that can affect man. It, like many diseases, has been used by the spirit of fear far beyond it’s actual spread. In the Nation of England people have this horrible, spectacular disease. And it kills slowly, and painfully. Yet how many people out of the 60 + million Great Britain have it, or have died from it? Numbers are hard to find.

Some people say that the disease itself warrants our attention. “People need this information”, shouts the united voices of fear and deception. So low and behold, Oprah puts together a program to inform us about “Mad Cow Disease”. Within the hour cattle futures, and the whole futures market drops. The Dow Jones, as “bullish” at it wants to be, flattens. Throughout the nation local news channels have polls to “measure” public opinion. Twenty-three minutes after her program ended the local affiliate had a local number for viewers to call to express their opinion. Then they had the gall to announce finding of their “poll” would be given before the end of the broadcast.

To paraphrase Shakespeare’s tragic hero, Hamlet, “something smells very fishy on your video box!”

A major lesson from the school of hard knocks: “if it looks like a set up, sounds like a set up, smells like a set up ..quit calling it a lousy duck.”

Throughout history the ideal of “plague” has haunted the dreams of mankind. As we modern thinkers get sidetracked by medial hyped “bugs” we loose sight of more real threats. Old nightmares are coming back to life and the media is strangely silent. “AIDS” is still around, but it doesn’t get our attention as easily, or a sharply as it once did. Just call it, “the Boy who cried wolf syndrome.”

Most people are definitely afraid of “AIDS”, yet few really know how it works, or how extensive it is worldwide. As media selects what and how it does hype, we see the working of the kingdom of darkness. Few Americans know the “facts” because few desire to look for them. Most Americans only know what the media gives them. Few remember what they see, hear, or read. Will Rogers once said, “I only know what I read in the newspaper.” That prophecy is now being fulfilled.

“Mad Cow Disease” is this years “Celebrated “. Last year it was Ebola, the year before was E Coli. They join all the past celebrities, “AIDS”. “Legionnaires’ Disease”, Agent Orange, Polio, Influenza. Oh, I almost forgot, “Flesh Eating Disease” and “hunta Virus.” All seem to have had their day in the sun. Andy Warholl once said that everyone will have “15 Minutes” in the spotlight of world attention. That may be because most new issues are kept in 5 minute segments, so each get its 15 minutes in three sections. Remember this.

The first section is the “shock.” The point of first mention or contact. Sudden attack of strange new “bug”. Signs and symptoms that look more like movie trailers. Views of victims in worse case scenes. Then comes the second section where we are overwhelmed by comments by people in anguish and despair. After every thread of emotion is plucked, they go on to the next story. Finally, the third section is the “panic button.” The bug is built up and expanded. The thrust to all of humanity has been “hidden”, but now you “need” to be told everything for your good. After which comes the quiet.

In the last five years the World Health Organization (WHO) and the center for Disease Control (CDC) have quietly stated “facts.” Media does not hype facts, it creates causes. So little has reached the North American Public of old enemies returning. “Mad Cow Disease” may have killed hundred of people and “many” more are affected. In the 1990’s hundred of thousands continue to die from such “cured” diseases of Cholera, Diphtheria, and Typhus. In isolated areas Bubonic Plague has “broken out”:, but has been contained so far. Millions and tens of millions have died from Tuberculosis, Malaria, and Malnutrition. Tens and hundreds of millions will die from the opportunistic diseases that are associated with the end stages of HIV infection. otherwise called AIDS.

You may wonder why I have listed “Malnutrition” as a pawn of the entity called “pestilence.” since earliest of times mans crops and cattle have been threatened by their own “bugs”. Today, three states have had to destroy their wheat crops because of Karnal bunt (also known as wheat smut). Have you heard much about that? The Dept of Agriculture is very concerned.* Last year the nations corn crop was compromised by corn smut. That is why the price of a bushel of feed corn is the highest in history. Likewise the cost of poultry, and meat will continue to rise. Historically, when crops are destroyed or live stock dies, people starve.

Famine and Pestilence have marched hand in hand across the pages of history. usually following the footsteps of war. More people have died from starvation and disease following the battle, then were usually killed in battle. Children suffering from malnutrition die easily from diseases that we would think as minor. Likewise the chronic disease victims and the elderly.

The “new age-one world” crowd wants two things. First to go back to they “old ways’ of the ancient past. Secondly they desire to “control” the planet’s population at about 500,000,000 people. Simple arithmetic tell us around 5 billion plus people are unnecessary and need to “go”. Lucky for them the “old ways” had a method of population control that was most efficient. “War”, “Pestilence”, and “famine” - thee of the four horseman of Revelation’s Seal Judgments have proven both quick and effective.

All four Horseman of the Apocalypse seem to be mounted and moving today. Will we see them in time to warn the unknowable, the unsuspecting, the “careless lives in the aisles.” Only time will tell.

Red Flags: Kingdom vs. Kingdom

Throughout mankind’s long and tumultuous history, war has been a major source of suffering and death. Ancient Greek and Roman mythology describe the God of War as the personification of frail humanity’s fears.

Such author pornographic efforts did not limit itself to the likes of the Roman Mars, or the Greek Ares. Modern buzz words as Havoc, Amok, and Typhoon Burserker, all originated from ancient tales of individual whose exploits were the stuff of nightmare. Fear and terror were the purpose and the deities to whom the practitioner of mayhem worshipped and lived. Today they still have their counterparts, but the venue seems to be changing. “WAR” appears to have lost its luster as the technology of man has advanced. Likewise improvement in tactics decreased the individual efforts.

A strange equality has been berthed. Individual abilities and coverage always took a back seat to technology. As rock and stone fell prey to bronze, so bronze eventually fell to iron and steel. As individuals fell to large numbers, so too did massed warriors fall to disciplined soldiers. Tactics and strategies changed with time slowly, only to accelerate suddenly and unexpectedly. Even Shakespeare documented one of these sentimental moments in mankind’s evolution.

The play Henry V portrays the battle of any in court. In this small area of France the ultimate example of chivalry, the massed French Cavalry, all knights in shining armor road off to battle. The Aristocracy of glorious France assembled in response to their dauphin, the Prince of France. With “Superior” armament, numerical “superiority”, and “righteous” cause they advanced with victory “assured.” But there are more variables than armor, numbers, and incentive. Terrain, meteorology, and technology favored the British. In rain and mud cavalry lost it’s advantage, in fog and mist it lost its cohesion. What French Knight who was not felled by the long bows of English yeomen, fell to their pikes, swords and axes.

The Gods of War were greatly served in the most one sided battle in history. And it was a battle, man of war vs man of war. Technology today has removed that possibility. This Twentieth Century is the Century of Two World Wars. It is also the Century of Refugees, friendly fire, collateral damage, and mutual assured destruction. Mutual assured destruction, MAD, is the bastard child of technology and global power. It was berthed into the abstraction called the cold war. Coined in the stalemate between the east and the west, it epitomized the awkward balances that technology established. Thermonuclear War was seen by the secular world as “Armageddon”, a literal doomsday where nuclear winter would be the ultimate victor. Interestingly man turned to technology to provide an alternative to battle in the Thermonuclear Age. The neutron bomb destroyed life, but left inanimate objects intact. Star Wars anti missile warhead research might supply a theoretical defensive support to strategic first strike capabilities. Laser and Pulse Beam/Particle Beam Research and Development continue today. In the heat of the Cold War and expanded arsenal of probability was needed, so biological/chemical genetic weaponry was espoused. But now they are no longer needed. Global Peace and Prosperity, love and happiness are at the door. Just listen to your politicians. And if doesn’t seem to matter where in the “free” world you might live. Only little of the world now appears to be free.

One of the problems of the cold war and MAD was it did change the nature of man. When technology prevented conflict, the followers of the Gods of War changed tactics, strategies, and venues. Between 1945 and 1988 east/west, communism/capitalism changed the venue from direct confrontation to “surrogate” war. The “game” was created around some global hot spot where each super power took aside in a local conflict. Each would send “aid” and “advisors”, sometimes troupes were committed. Global ore-up man ship played out in the concept of a “guerrilla”, a “little” war. (For many years American citizens heard the word “gorilla” and could not understand how apes were involved. But if you heard it on the TV, it had to be right. Right!)

Depending upon what side of the fence you stood the combatants of “guerilla” warfare took on astoundingly different characteristics. If you were supportive of their efforts for whatever reason they became daring, charismatic, even romantic freedom fighters. Independent partisans rising against the great aggressor to restore peace, safety, and freedom to their countryman. They over came great odds through great sacrifice. Of such are the legends of William Tell, Robin Hood, Joan of Arc, and the scarlet pimpernel. Again, depending on your point of view, modern “legends” might include Wallensa of Poland. Pavel of Czechoslovokia, Ghandi of India, Ben Gurien and Begin of Israel, “Marshal” Tito of Croatia and Yugoslavia, Mao of China, Castro, Noriega, the Ahyatolla Khomeni , Sadam Hussein, etc. I think you get my point. One mans patriotic freedom fighter could be another’s saboteur, assassin, or terrorist. It all depend on who wins and who writes the History books. Or it used to.

In American “history” has an adversary called “redaction.” Much of history is being rewritten as the “memory” begins to fade. Regrettably it in difficult to spot who is responsible for this changing of History, but it is obvious the American people are the opposition. So it is necessary to study the Technology, tactics and strategies of the “little war.” Because of its nature the “guerilla war” is one that attempts to change a balance of power without head to head conflict. Tactically it pits a smaller, weaker group against the present government/culture/society. So the idea of anonymity is important. If a government does not know who to fight, it is powerless to even strike at its enemy. The principle weapons of anonymity are misinformation, disinformation, and propaganda. this diminishes effective creation and deployment of any counter-insurgent measures by the “Government.”

The second tactic of this “guerrilla” war is attrition. To damage the strength and literal structure of the “government.” Attrition can be anything from debasing the economy to disrupting the infrastructure. Assassination and sabotage are weapons of attrition that lead to the third major tactic of warfare, and that is terrorism. The goal of the “guerilla” is to overthrow the present government/culture/society.

One means of doing so is to either win the support of the common people, and if not, to destroy their will to resist the insurrectionists. If misinformation and propaganda fail to move the people, fear will. That is the sole purpose of terrorism. Sometimes it works, look at “modern” Israel and Afghanistan. But “victory” takes a price, ask a Muhajadin or a Machabee. Yet terrorism, by itself, has never over thrown a government.

A “terrorist act” by definition is to create fear as it damages present authority. To blow up a power plant, bridge, factory, or rail line “disrupts” more than “frightens.” But to “attack” the people is a sign of a terrorist. “Fear” is created by exposing vulnerability. But whose? In the perfect world of Hollywood the insurrectionist seemed to be attempting to restore “freedom.” To either throw out an external/aggressor or to overthrow a corrupt or tyrannical government. Yet historically the cold war created few heroes, but many victims. And it continues until today.

Today terrorism can be a tactic of many possible causes. But we need to only look at three. The first, of course, is to restore freedom to a conquered people, or to regain a “homeland”. The second is to overthrow a government and to replace it in some way. The third is simple anarchy for either profit or pleasure. The first and second cause for terrorism has a purpose that is simply understood because it has a goal.

The third cause tends to be a “Pandora’s Box” of possibilities and probabilities. There was once a time where the word Anarchist brought vivid mental pictures of wild eyed fanatics who caused death and destruction for unimagined reason or cause.

Anarchy by definition, is a state where all rules of conduct are suspended, all bets are off. In the previous century literature described the Anarchist as a “mad man with a bomb.” Before there were serial killers and mass murderers we had Anarchists. Long-haired, bearded “Bohemians” whose only desire was to upset the apple cart. Or so they were pictured. Now that we have laid a “foundation” on Terrorism and Terrorist. Let us look at recent ‘events’ in America. Let us go back to the World Trade Center and planned bombings in New York City.

Supposedly the FBI was aware of activities prior to the bombing and quickly moved afterwards against certain Islamic Fundamentalists. In Oklahoma City a bomb went off and quickly suspects were arrested. A Value Jet aircraft went down in the Everglades “equipment” failure is believed. A TWA aircraft goes down in the Atlantic; no answers have yet to be given. A bomb goes off in Atlanta, one suspect is, mentioned, and then ignored by the authorities, but not the media. Now where is the “common thread” between them.

By nature, when a “guerilla’ goes to the point of requiring terrorist acts either the cause is nearly won, or it is hopeless. In the first case a ruthless act of terror will get a dictator to abdicate, or an enemy to withdraw. The second case is to show that the “cause” has not died when it basically has. You may call it a vengeful act, the so called insurgent calls it a “parting shot”, not quickly forgotten. It is in their light that when a bomb goes off somewhere in the world, the News Media is “contacted” by “alleged groups” who take claim for the terrorist act. A number of years ago a “pipe bomb exploded in a European Airport Terminal.

Within 24 hours a major wire service documented that the act of terrorism was claimed by eight separate groups: The Irish Republican Army, the PLO, The Red Brigades of Italy, A Basque Separatist Group, A Greek Royalist Group, The German Badder Meinholf “Gang” and a “Green Party” activist who would not disclose his/her country of origin. It is interesting that so many causes openly desire credit for killing and naming “innocent people.” Especially when authorities apprehended the bomber.

An employee that had been fired was “getting even”. Shades of the United States Postal Service. In the first 24 hours of both the World Trade Center and the Oklahoma City bombings, the Media mentioned a claim for each from an “Islamic Group”, but only briefly. No other claims were “reported.” But where any claims made? Nor has the Media reported such claims in either crash or the Atlanta Bombing. This goes against the “nature” of a terrorist, whether factual or bogus.

If they are all acts of an anarchist “he” is not the mad man, megalomaniac we would expect to see. So that tends to leave out the “pleasure” variable. Imagine a group or person exceptionally competent technically and professionally disciplined acting in the area terrorism on behalf of the highest bidder. Yet both maintaining anonymity. All this does is to bring us completely full circle.

Is there an unseen “Kingdom” openly contesting for the expulsion of an invading power who has conquered and enslaved the people of the United States? While we were asleep or not looking? That obviously is not the apparent situation.

So in spite of what either the Democrats or the Republicans might say at their conventions, the forceful overthrow of a despotic tyrant does not seem underway. So what remains. Over the years who has not heard of some strange conspiracy coming from outside and from inside our very government. Some have been more that far fetched while a few were quite intriguing. What usually eliminated these theories where those who came forward to warn us of “impending dooms”. Granted, before most got their 15 minutes in the spot light, they had borne the brand of fanatic, lunatic, and crackpot. And where did the titles come from, our friends in the fourth estate. Then again, the media itself, and how it has slowly evolved into the molder of the message, rather than just the messenger, is suspect.

Point of fact, whenever a coup de tat would take place, the central objective would be to capture all areas of media and control. Political control does not come only by military and police control, but the economical and popular power.

The radio and television links give the coup access to the people, both for the dissemination of information and propaganda. Most military and political strategists saw this not only as the key failure of the Soviet Coup against Mikael Gorbachev, but as the linch-pin of the “charade.”

All tactical experts agreed that no effort was made to either control or to shoot down both the local and International Media. In fact, they agreed that the “protection” of International Media and their satellite uplinks proved that the “Coup” was a “staged event.” Merely Russian Theater at it’s highest. But little was said over the media that would cause disbelief to spring up. All contrary thoughts took time to filter through the channels. Enough to me that Gorbachev was out, Yeltzin was in and those who “staged” the coup were dealt with. Unknown invisible men were safely out of sight. Obvious the Soviet/Russian Bear had truly changed.

The “Evil Empire” berthed by Levin and Stalin dealt speedily with all who rose up against it. And the net eternity in the bowels of Lubianca Prison, or a shallow grave in Siberia, not in Summer House in Crimea. For nearly forty years the Kingdoms in conflict were simple to distinguish. East vs West, Communism vs Democracy, Socialism vs Capitalism were simply labels for the two systems that vied for world domination. Our side was based in “Washington” while the other was based in “Moscow.” But because of technological advance to the stage of mutual assured destruction. Global conflict became limited to the surrogate level.

Basically you could play one side against the other, but ultimately all played by a strange set of rules. And as the cold war ended, between the two powers, local instability occurred when “nationalism” filled the power void. So who would gain from any form of Terrorist Act against the American people? Who would benefit by attacks against the American power grid or infrastructure? What is left is a “conspiracy” so advanced and developed that victory is assured.

The anarchist theory of terrorism for pleasure or profit no longer fits because the megalomaniac wants recognition for his acts. That is his source of pleasure. Likewise the profit ideal falls because while the perpetrators would seek anonymity, the “customer” would seek the media to chin the credit. Literally notoriety based on the size of the “bang” for their “bucks.” Crude humor, but accurate. That leaves only scapegoats and surrogates to ponder.

Red Flags: Fire And Rain

The Word of God warns of signs of what is called “The End of the Age”. Sometimes it is referred to as the “Day of the Lord.” Most who do not place much value in either the authority or the power of the Word of God give it another name “Doom’s Day.” That is because of the misinterpretation of the message that scripture attempts to give. People who look to the Revelation of the Word see the “Day of the Lord” as the ultimate Paradigm Shift. But to those who look at it from a “self”-centered perception of the universe see their inevitable destruction - or “doom.” Therefore, it is nothing more than “individual perspective.”

This calls to mind a song from the 1960’s called “Eve of Destruction.” It seems that many “spiritual” people are singing that song today. Among the New Age Guru’s and Psychic Councilors there are many Pseudo-Prophets who speak of the next three to five years in cataclysmic terms. While there is a “measure” of truth in what they preach, both their source of information and their ultimate outcome is greatly erroneous. But let’s look at another song from the 60’s that said; “But I’ve seen fire and I’ve seen rain...” good news world, Brother James Taylor spoke of the past tense; “I’ve seen...” But there was a time where we were warned of what is now taking place. Yeshua spoke of a Mo’ed, a “Set Time” in Matt 24: 36-39 (*) The Father knows! But there are some False Gospels being preached that the “Coming of the Lord” is being held back so the “gospel can be preached.” That does not line up with scripture.

Verse 39 tells us that the world in general, haven’t a clue of what is happening in spite of a Global Deluge. The Gospel of Luke has an interesting “parallel” in the 21st Chapter, and an interesting warning. (vs 25-28, 34-36). Look again at verse 28, and think for a moment. When these “signs” begin to take place, we should be in anticipation for the coming of the King. Matthew’s prophetic warning speaks of floods, Luke speaks of the roaring and raging of the “seas.” Debatable points to all closed minded “realists” until you cross reference it. How often does the world and the New Age talk about “Global Warming” and “Greenhouse Effect”? Hoe many “modern psychic’s tell of Hurricanes and floods in their cataclysmic scenario’s?

While they are not very original, they also are not very accurate. Yet you can never pin them down to any specific point while they take credit for every near miss. Looks interesting like they want their cake and to eat it too. Throughout this summer the news has weekly reported flash floods and torrential rains throughout the continental United States. Yet daily we receive updates that report continuous “brush fires”, forest fires”, “wild fires.” Throughout the Western States.

Today, 8/28/96, the National Media stated that over 20,000 fire fighters are actively engaged in seven states. At present the city of Boise, Idaho is ringed by “fires.” In previous reports I heard a report that over 4 million acres have been burned so far this year. Obviously that number is now obsolete. The fires are but an inevitable outcome from a greater problem, draught. In the midst of one of the “wettest” years we have seen there are more areas of “draught” than there are “floods.” Many knowledgeable observers are talking of a return to the “dust bowl” states of the 1930’s in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Kansas. Likewise Missouri and Arkansas have watched their crops burn in record breaking heat waves. To deal with the increased electrical consumption they have run their Hydroelectric Plants at capacity through much of the summer. Reservoir levels drop as streams and rivers dry up. Yet to the immediate North and East the state of Iowa and Mississippi are struggling to keep dikes and levees intact because of unseasonably high flood levels. This problem is not limited to North America.

In the last 30 days flash floods have hit in Spain and Italy. Nepal had a “blizzard” in the middle` of summer. Japan and the Philippines have had Typhoons while China drowns. Throughout the summer reports on the flood of China continue. While the video footage is obviously limited and dated, the catastrophe is real.

There have been no updates of the casualties this flood has caused, but early in July they “acknowledged” thousands dead and millions homeless. Damage was “acknowledged” in the billions of dollars. The future problem lies in the fact at the central provinces are underwater today. The “breadbasket” of China, so to speak, has been wash away. This would seem to point to maybe the worst harvest in history, seeing the present population of China at 1.3 billion people.

Taking into account the failed crops in many states and the present low levels of global grain supplies, trouble are definitely ahead. Anticipated shortfalls in India, Pakistan, and China point to severe hunger for almost half the world’s population. Record high grain prices in the commodities market tells us that there is no room upward in the market. The simple law of supply and demand dictates that the price goes up when the supply goes down! Present futures are near theirs all time high. This leads to consumer prices increasing geometrically and inflation escaping the present limits set by the government through the Federal Reserve Board.

Now let us step back a bit and take a deep breath. Presently we have “floods” and fires.” The “fires” strip the ground over which prevents proper absorption of rainfall. So when a “draught” ends, if there has been a brush/forest fire, the water “runs” off and not into the ground. This leads to erosion of topsoil and decreased fertility of the land. It also produces mud and land slides, and usually “flash floods.” So we find ourselves full circle. Drought and fire leading to floods, floods leading to famine. This brings us to rising markets, increased profits, and tighter interest rates. Well, Hallelujah! Happy days are here again! I guess old Billy Clinton-Slick Willy - is right. Things are getting better! But for who?

Revelations 6:5-6

5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.

6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

Imagine working a whole day for a sandwich? That is what we are told will come. These are 6.4 billion people alive today according to United Nations Estimates. Presently the world states over two billion are “legally” defined as “malnourished.” That means they only have enough food, in calories, to reach 75% of what “expert” call minimal for survival.

What it means is over 1/3 rd of the people of earth are starving. And it is not only in Asia and Africa, we have too many in need in America. What is ‘too many’ you may ask? How about any more than one! But the prophecy does not stop there at the lack. It says “do not” limit the oil and the wine. This talks about the “haves”, those who are ahead of the game. The Apostle John is being told that in the greatest famine of history there will be many prospering in the midst of devastation. Is it beginning to sound a little close to home? Most financial expects see a continuation of this so called “bull” market. Yet most contrarians will tell you that the real money, the big “killing” comes during a falling market. Especially if you are anticipating each change. Let me repeat that word, ‘anticipating’, and let you think about it. Anticipate is not the same as to estimate, nor is it the same as to speculate.

I make no attempt to predict or prognosticate the future. The so called “Psychic Hot Lines” make a lot of money “entertaining” people by there efforts at telling people what is ahead. And according to most “infomercials” their customers are pleased at both their service and their product. On the other hand I am but a watchman. I look and listen to what is around us, and call out warnings of changes in the “weather.” which anyone could see if they are looking. Especially if they can see beyond the immediate. Some may call it opinions, and they are by nature. But we can look at them as “forecasts” of approaching storms.  In Proverbs it says: (22:3)
