The Coming Storm

Bob Neumann

Since the beginning of time man has strived against the planet called Earth. Among all the creation he was endowed with the authority to take dominion. In fact in any one measure of ability, he was never equal to the creation. All of his senses were inferior to that which is in or under his dominion. Sight, hearing, smell, and taste lacked most levels of true acuity. Size, strength, speed, supple dexterity were limited. Yet man took and held dominion by the “gifts” of knowledge and will. Conscious thought not base instinct was the difference between man and the creation he had been given dominion over.

And as man’s dominion expanded over the face of the planet, man by conscious action ceased to adapt to the environment around him. He took dominion over the land. He domesticated both plants and animals, creating social structure. And eventually civilizations.

Today many stress the destructive nature of man, confusing conscious dominion with mindless plunder. That is a point of modern man’s failure to understand his own beginnings. Ancient man did not plunder nature. “Dominion” is bred on sensibility. What can be modified was domesticated. That which could not be domesticated was either controlled or defended against. Simple safety precautions eventually evolved into what we now think of as cities. But cities were not built to conflict with the environment. In fact the environment dictated where and how the cities were built.

Ancient man lived in harmony with nature. The planets cycles and patterns, in spite of modern thought, dictated to man. What he could not control, he adapted to. The seasons told him when to plant and when to harvest. When to travel, when to build, and even when to make war. Ancient man, to prove this point, in all instances worshiped the creation-not the Creator. What man could not control, be in dominion over, he had to appease. So man created religion.

In the midst of his superiority in so many levels man understood he stood helpless, defenseless against the catastrophic “whims” of nature. Survival itself was too often endangered by the unforeseen, the unexpected, that which could not be anticipated. Even in modern society this “ultimate truth” has not changed. Knowledge, strength, and even technology give us little advantage when the storm overtakes us.

The five daughters of the storm are death, destruction, devastation, disease, and despair. Throughout history man has stood helpless and vulnerable in the face of the storm. But the storm has many faces. As man progressed, advanced, became the builder of civilization. The storm gained newer faces, more frightening and terrible as man “expanded” himself. The more he succeeded to “control” his environment, the greater threat the “storm” posed to him.

Today as man continues to move farther out of harmony with his Creator and the creation in which he was given the responsibility of dominion, he moves closer to the storm and his own destruction. The same man who recently stepped away from his Creator, now runs to the religions he has made to allow him to either confront or negate the storm. Man does not know he has brought the storm to himself by turning away from the Creator.

Today the prognosticators are warning about the “season” ahead. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods are being predicted by all “seers”. At the same time media “oracles” warn of economic tremors with shaking in all the markets. “Political Pundits” daily cry out warning about the instability of governments and movements who seek settlements by the spilling of innocent blood. Pseudo, social psychics make proclamations of impending doom because of inequality between the peoples as they promote racial and social tension. Any human being on planet earth today who has any access to any team of “media” are aware of all these facts.

And we were warned! And are still being warned!

Nearly two thousand years ago we were told:

(Matt 24)

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

The faithful one who gave us this intense warning, was called Yeshua ben Yosef, a carpenter from the village of Nazareth. There is not one nation where His Name has not been spoken, His message of the GOOD NEWS OF HIS KINGDOM has not been taught. Every language on the face of planet earth has it’s own variation of how His name is pronounced. But He remains the same, yesterday and today. And His kingdom will have no end.

We call Him Jesus. He is the Creator, the Son of the living God. His instruction manual for His kingdom is called the Bible. The message of who He is, what is now happening on the earth, and the storm which now comes upon the earth is in this book the Bible.

If we see that what He warned about is happening, and all of what seems about to explode upon the world is exactly what He said. Maybe we should learn exactly what He said. Maybe we should learn exactly what He said will soon take place. And maybe, just maybe, it might be smart to know a little about who He says He is.

The Anatomy of a Storm ...

Bob Neumann

Today we speak of Storm in many ways. It is a word that brings to mind many different things. In the sense of simple meteorology it is anything from a line of rain clouds to a category 5 Hurricane. From the tame idea of gentle spring rain, to the utter terror of a Kansas Cyclone. Metaphorically we talk about “storms in a tea cup to the “Storm of the century.” Sometimes we look at alterations in our social; spiritual; or personal existence as a “storm.” Maybe our loose translation and utilization of the word “storm” has desensitized us to its original concept. Just maybe it has been planned that way.

Words” are merely a way to communicate. To express ideas in a concise manner that eliminates error. In our modern vernacular “storm” tends to be rather inclusive, but not so to early man.

Plainly speaking; in ancient times the concept of “Storm” was of terrifying complications to a life, precarious at best. Simply defined a storm was any cataclysmic alteration in daily events. Flood-Fire-Earthquake were unforeseen events that came out of nowhere bringing pain and suffering. To the ancient superstitions of early man the ultimate terror of a thunderstorm was not in the area of meteorological pyrotechnics. In the simplicity of their rudimentary thinking a rolling peal of thunder was in reality pure theophany. The voice of gods, and the lightning was an instrument of wrath. Simple wisdom said, “watch the sky.” If the signs changed people wept; prayed; and sacrificed.

So man looked to the sky and learned the signs and the seasons. They were quick to mark the patterns of their world. As each season changed, it bought the memories of previous times. So man learned to put aside for the winter. To move to the high ground when the spring floods arose. Nature could be marked by the movement of the stars in the heavens; and the angle of the sun; and the phases of the moon. This was raw data based on experience, and experience leads to knowledge. From which wisdom emerges; and wisdom is power.

In this scenario wisdom allowed man to prosper and live in harmony with his environment. Until the unforeseen; the cataclysmic hand of nature struck without warning; without mercy. Such is the “Storm.”

The Storm - a sudden disruption of the fabric of society. Whether by nature caused; or spawned by the will of man; tend to follow a chain of exacting events. Each growing like links on a chain; that lead from the level of severe discomfort and inconvenience to racial/tribal extinction. Mankind has always had a good reason to fear the storm. It is called self-preservation. The concept of catastrophic can be seen in many areas. That which might be anticipated; spring floods, summer drought; and winter blizzards. It can also be of a sudden nature that builds up and overwhelms. Such would be Typhoons and Hurricanes, Wars and Plagues and Locust swarms also qualify. And then there are the truly cataclysmic; earthquake; tidal wave; fire. As different and varied as each may be; all are but the beginning of the chain of events common to all.

Each “Storm” has a personality of its own. Likewise the chain varies in sequence; but the links remain unchanged.

The first link is always death and injury. The initial shock of the tragedy is the scores of the dead and the dying. The cries of the wounded and the maimed spur on the desperate efforts of the survivors to sift through the rubble for missing loved ones.

The next link is usually of simple destruction. Homes are leveled. Businesses and farms; whether damaged or completely washed away can no longer function. Destruction is joined to the next link called disruption. In ancient times cataclysmic events disrupted the very fabric of life. The disruption of the economy and communications isolated and slowed the flow of resources needed for recovery.

With bodies unrecovered; injured untreated; food and safe water limited the usual next link was disease. The greatest killers in history were never war and storm; but the insidious gang of Dysentery; Typhus; Cholera; Tetanus. Each a little link in the chain of tragedy that follows the “Storm.”

While there are still other little links in these chains of events; maybe the worst is the link called despair. It is spawned from the mixture of fear; insecurity; helplessness that keeps a survivor in the mindset of a victim. In ancient times a community could not look beyond itself for assistance. If the level of death and destruction was great enough; the community would die from within most assuredly as from the storm without.

So what storm lies ahead you may ask. Whatever disrupts the fabric of our lives is a storm. And if many are affected at the same time; it becomes a catastrophe. Present day society; as unbalanced and fickle as it is; needs little to destroy and disrupt the lives we take for granted.

Meteorological events; according to experts are becoming more frequent and more inclusive. Likewise earthquakes are increasing in severity and number globally. More wars and acts of terrorism are daily covered by the media. Governments totter; regimes fall. Civil and cultural unrest more often lead to violence. International economic uncertainty; inflation; market down turns are new “Storms” we should consider. Remember 1929 and what followed.

There are many who watch the sky and look for signs of the Storm that are on the approaching horizon. Is there an early warning system we can look to for help? Is there any way to prepare for what we fear; what we know is coming; but can not see? Is there any hope?

There is, if you know where to look....

Storm Warnings

Bob Neumann, 1996

Every morning we turn on the radio or the television to listen to the AM media cheerleaders. They all have but one desire, to keep you listening so they can have an audience to listen to their sponsors attempts to sell you their names. Did you ever notice that each aspect of this positive self-reinforcement is privately funded? The news is brought to you by..... Now for the sports with ..... presented by ..... The weather sponsored by .... The 8:15 traffic update, a courtesy of ... Market and Dow Jones updates, etc., etc., etc..

How long have we been told we are an information based society. Remember when a specific supermarket tabloid advertised itself with the statement, “inquiring minds want to know.” Knowledge is useful tool in many regards. But today we are relatively unchanged from the situation of our ancient fore father’s. While we are able to see, hear, and even experience both national events and international situations literally as they occur, it is still historical in nature. They are past tense as they occur.

In spite of our glut of media sources we still live in the “victim scenario.” At any moment a cataclysmic event could occur and the “fabric of their lives” is soiled, stained, or even shredded. Take a week to study any television news desk. NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, whatever, whoever. They all are generic in essence, having the same assets, sources, technology. Their only difference, if one may call them that, is their somewhat in exhaustible source of noted expects. Each news source appears to have a “noted” expert, and “esteemed” statesman, a “renowned” specialist who can discuss each sudden change in events, almost as they occur. Imagine having a stable of sources as diverse, and specific in their fields, as CBS has or NBC, or CNN, or ABC? Before the dust settles they have a source of information who will be able to “spin” the data as you receive it.

Helpful, is it not.

But, information, with the appropriate commentary is still historic in nature. In spite of all our effort, of all our technology we are helpless in the face of the catastrophic. Little has changed in the last 6000 years it seems. All our efforts to study, to categorize, to theorize the patterns of nature and the random acts of man does little to warn us of what will happen. Like Lewis Carroll we can discuss all the possibilities with “cabbages and kings”, but we can not look beyond this moment with certainty.

Or can we?

Within each social structure of the ancients, there was a definite hierarchy. Leadership and the chain of command were quite extensive. Yet no matter the structure, no matter the strength of the individuals. They were vulnerable to the unexpected, the unforeseen. One aspect of survival lies close to the line we modern theorists would call paranoia, to look for the things we can not see.

A uniform aspect of ancient cultures is the creation of a method or means to deal with the catastrophic. Today we might call it superstition, or classify it as religion. In time all appears to have developed both structure and ritual. The quality of the structure and extensiveness of their external ritual depended upon their record of success. Basically the longer the culture society survived, the higher in stature and more ingrained in their life style became their ritual.

The greatest civilization and cultures of our history had the most dominate and intrusive “religious” systems. What today we would consider to be the level of “cabinet secretary” or “national security adviser” was in reality the High Priest, the Chief Court Astrologer, or most successful necromancer. A common archeological fact is that the largest, or most ornate, or the central located structure of a major city was either the place of worship / sacrifice or the national treasury building. Quite often they were both.

But the main tie between all these ancient societies and their ability to both fore warn and foretell is that they failed. They all have been destroyed, or merely buried by the sands of time. All but one that is, and in many ways is quite incredible. By far the oldest and long running social/racial group also has the most successful record of prognostication. In fact their historical and religious writings are extensively prophetic in nature. Prophecies that come to pass, and prophecies yet to be fulfilled.

The Ancient Hebrew Nation, alive today in direct and indirect descendants have given us a great library of commentary and philosophy based on the Tenach. The Tenach is based on the Books of Moses - the Terah, and the Historical Books, the poetic books, and the prophetic books. Yet in every single book, whether the law, the Psalms, or the history of the kings, there are a set of integral characters. In the ancient language of the Hebrews they we called “Nazi”. We translate it as Prophets. A single prophet or “Nabi” seems to appear at each major, unctier in Hebrew History. Moses was a “Nabi”, King Saul, David, and Solomon were also prophets. They foretold and foresaw what would happen to individual people, cities, and nations. Events that would occur within hours, or at the end of this present millennium.

You may say that I am going to push some religion at you, prostiletize “innocent” minds. Not hardly.

You might ask what importance is ancient writings for today? None, if they did not have this problem of being fulfilled as we watch. You know like, what big deal of 3200 year prophecy coming true in the summer of 1996? Imagine 1000,000 people dead, world power shifts, economic collapse. Yeah, bummer, unless it involves you.

Hillary Clinton (here of her?), got involved in a book recently about a “global village.” Interesting concept, if you look at it from a historic point of view. And she has her own Shaman and her own chancellor. Maybe, just maybe, we have come full circle. Science and technology doesn’t work! So drag out the astrologers and the court magicians! And maybe a Hebrew Nabi, like Daniel will step forward and forewarn us of what will occur.

That now leads to a major obstacle. If these ancient prophets were, and are, incredibly accurate. Why? And if their source of information was Divine Inspiration , then why are there no prophets today tied into this same source. Today we have numerous groups that describe themselves as descendants of these “Divinely” established roots. And from these roots we have the extremely numerous and non aligned religions that we call Judaism, Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Bahai, Mormonism, Scientology, etc.

Two things seen to link them, strangely enough. All seem to be divinely inspired in origin, and all currently deny present inspiration or revelation. A true Nabi stepping forth today would be as threatening to the status and as Elijah was in Ahab’s court. Likewise the ancient Prophet Hosea stated the word of the divine (*NIV will tell my servants the prophets)

Then again according to the Great Prophet Isaiah who states (*I am God and there are no others) (I change not) (I tell the end from the beginning) (I am about to do a new thing so you can’t claim previous knowledge)

Historically we can see the accuracy level of these prophets. In fact as their level of accuracy increased, their life expectancy decreased. In a chilling example of intense negative feed back Isaiah said (*30: Tell your prophets...). For his devotion to duty the good Isaiah at a “ripe old” age was said to have been drawn and quartered by then King Mannasah. Such was the payment for integrity and accuracy in the “good old days.”

The question that now must be raised is whether the age of the true prophet ended with the Tunic. According to the Rabbi’s of Modern Judaism it did. Christian and Islam scholars disagreed. So do the more recent heirs of the Hebrew writings.

The Messianic Origins of Modern day Catholicism and Christianity are aviation, but strangely denied at every turn. Remarkably the documents called the New Testament speak of the fulfillment of ancient prophecy in the birth, life, death, resurrection of Yeshua ben Joseph. The one called the Christ-Jesus. Likewise they continue to prophecy of His Second Coming, likewise fulfilling ancient prophecies concerning the “End of the Age”, or “The Day of the Lord”.

According to the writing of Saul of Tarsus, Rabbi turned prophet/apostle. The movement called “The Way” was based on the concept of prophets and apostles at large, functioning in the mainstream. As “The Way” moved counter to it’s Hebrew roots the name changed to a generic “Christianity” and so did it’s foundation of prophets and apostles.

Strangely enough the next mega-religion to arise on the world scene was Islam. It also came forth from Hebrew roots with individual revelation. This will bathe pattern that all following sects, movements, and cults. While it’s roots appear to be Hebrew, it’s writing basically refute and counter all that is modern Judaic in nature. But what is interesting these writings, called the Koran acknowledge Abraham, Moses, and Jesus as their major sources of prophecy. Yet the Koran is basically devoid of prophecy, except when it speak of the “End Times” scenario.

And the two main characters is the return of Jesus, the Prophet of Nazareth to defeat the great Satan and to restore the Ancient Nation of Israel. And the arrival of a new person of which little is said. He is called the Mahdi.

Of the three great present day monotheistic religions, all speak of “The End Times”, but only one speaks of functional prophets in their foundational writings. Yet all would look to see a Divinely Directed Nab. The clincher is that in the recorded prophecies of this Jesus, and in the Apocryphal writings of one John the Revelator. This would be part of the scenario prior to His Return.

But what else did He speak of to look for, what storms would be seen to forewarn the events spoken of, but so easily{document stops here}ignored.

The Veil Of Perception

Bob Neumann, 6/1996

To see the storms approach has long been the desire of many. To know from where the next danger will arise was a fact that held both wealth and power. The knowledge of what will come was a prize greatly sought for. Not merely to gain power, but to maintain ones authority was often the goal. History shows that the courts of Kings and Emperors had place for those who could both “see” and “interpret” the things to come.

The ability to perceive glimpses of what is yet to be is not unknown either today, or in the distant past. How often does the average mortal move on feelings rather than on “knowledge”. A woman’s “intuition” or a man’s visceral rumblings have long been acknowledged to keep one out of harms way. The Ancient Prophet Joel described the outpouring of the Spirit of God at the end of days. Literally speaking, the “Breath of God” would be placed upon all living flesh. To dream dreams, to see visions of unspoken meaning. The Spirit of Prophecy would be given to all, regardless of age, sex, nationality, or race. The question that goes unasked, simply is what or how would they be interpreted.

Two of the greatest historical prognostications that we have in recorded history were not from dreams and visions by some religious oracle. Indeed, while separated by over a thousand years of time, and thousands of miles, two great rulers of empire reached beyond the fabric of time to look upon the future. Both Pharaoh of Egypt and Nebuchadnezer of Babylon had dreams that greatly disturbed them and their courts.

Outside of each having a prophetic dream in need of interpretation, their stories have no other similarity. Except for one.

Pharaoh and Egypt were given a warning of immediate danger, and a means to survive the events foretold. Nebuchadnezzar was given a view of future events from his position in time to the very present. Pharaoh’s dream would all transpire is his lifetime. Nebuchadnezzar would never see that which would come. Likewise the interpreter of each dream was quite different in most ways, and strangely similar in their point of commonality.

Joseph was in prison while Daniel was a member of the court. Daniel was an “up and comer” while Joseph had been forgotten. Joseph was sought out to answer the puzzle of Pharaoh’s dream, Daniel was sentenced to death if he could not state and explain Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. At this point the gap between the two needs to be closed.

At the begning of each story and it’s end both Joseph and Daniel will have three commonalties. Prior to each dream each was a prince of his “people”. Joseph was a son of Jacob, Daniel was called a Prince of Judah. The second point they shared was they were captives in a foreign land. Daniel was a prisoner, a “prize” of war. Joseph was a slave, “sold” by his brothers. The third, and most important, point is they believed in their covenant with the God of Abraham, and gave Him the credit for their ability to interpret dreams.

Upon the correct interpretation of these dreams, three things occurred. Both were given a place of great authority in their kingdoms. Secondly each was given the rank of “Prime Minister”, second only to the ruler. And from this position each could prepare a scenario in which his people would be saved from destruction. Again, Joseph in his lifetime, but Daniel in the future. Because of Daniel’s long distinguished service to two empires, Mordecai had a place in the Persian court. That allowed the story of Esther and the defeat of Haman to come to pass.

Now we have three stories and three sets of characters. Egypt had a famine, Babylon had a series of owners, and Persia had a people saved from extinction. All three we know are stories in the Bible, yet historically we have archaeology evidence of their validity. That leaves three situations with three separate outcomes, but each have one common denominator. Each of the three centered upon the intervention of the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob. The same God that Joel spoke about “breathing” upon mankind.

Man “sees” with not only his physical eyes. All men are able to perceive the physical world by all his five senses. To see in the realm of the visible spectrum and to hear according to the threshold of sound. We taste. smell, and feel according to similar limitations. Yet we will also play a hunch or “hedge our bets” without a shred of evidence. How often do we “gamble” on a feeling we can neither describe or explain.... accidents avoided, money saved, mistakes prevented, all tend to be more than coincidental. But experience is in itself knowledge.

What value then can be placed upon haphazard revelation or warnings. Pharaoh needed a full interpretation to prevent catastrophe. Nebuchadnezer’s dream is still being interpreted today as it’s culmination is in and of these last days. Where are those today who can perceive beyond the limits of their natural senses? Is the Veil that covers our spiritual eyes lifted beyond the occasional haphazard peek? How and why do they come? Throughout history there have been oracles and seers, magis and prophets.

Homer’s epic of the fall of Troy is made poignant by the inclusion of the character Cassandra... One who sees, but would not be believed. Was the reason for the disbelief in the population of Troy because her messages were always “doom and gloom”? Homer’s narration describes Cassandra as the sister of Paris, Princess of Troy. Then he makes the proclamation that Cassandra was gifted by the “Gods” and there made her life fall apart. Obvious the ones who bestowed “sight” to poor old Cassandra were fickle by nature, acting out of motives less trustworthy. One could describe their act as less beneficial and more mocking in both nature than deed.

For that reason the people of Troy turned away from the prophetess Cassandra. Is the gift of sight pure, but the givers of the gift suspect in their actions. Was not the desire of the people to know when danger approached? Then why the sudden change of attitude. Maybe the lack of belief was to ensure their destruction. Or had their arrogance grown to the point that no “danger” really frightened them to any positive action.

All these conjectures appear relevant today. Each week new warnings are shouted from the supermarket tabloids. Now summer movies are coming forth based on premises of impending doom from numerous sources. Have the ancient visionaries changed their venues more than their messages. Instead of Joseph in the courts of Egypt, do we have a Spielburg in Hollywood? Instead of a Daniel in a distant Babylon do we have a Stephen King in all our supermarkets and department stores. When once the witch of Endore stayed in hiding, devotes of the craft have 1-900 numbers and are Online as you are right now.

Does accessibility preclude authenticity?

Does marketability enhance validity?

Does entertainment value override instruction?

Does profitability negate authority?

Such seems the case. The number and diversity of sources seem of greater value than the messages given. If one voice is raised in warning, ten are brought forth to either negate or limit the warning. And ten more to deny and refute the lone voice calling “wolf”. How can you deny the voice once the sheep carcasses mount up and children are missing. Do you need to be surrounded by wolves before belief comes in? Maybe so.

Now, in the sixth month of 1996, we are surrounded by media spawned spirituality and prognostication. From the Tabloid talks shows discussions from Angels to UFO’S, all receive a thin veneer of banal chatter. Yet to the heart that discerns there has been a steady progression of facts. As evolution of deception. Special Programs and series that casually mix light with darkness, archeological proof with sensationalized speculation. On coming calamity with a New Age of Peace and safety. Shaken vigorously all seem to blend, but by nature they separate themselves like water and oil.

To discern between the truth and all that stand around it is my goal. It is also my message. When a storm begins to form at sea, Red Flags are hoisted. One Red Flag means a warning of a storm that is coming. Two Red Flags warns that the Tropical Storm has grown into a Hurricane. Something to be avoided if possible, prepared for most certainly.

But the storms that I see are not only meteorological events, not only marks on the Richter Scale when the ground moves from under our feet. The greatest and most dangerous storms that approach are made by man, guided by the same powers that tormented Cassandra. At one time Troy was only a myth of long ago, until it was dug up and studied. Then again, so was Babylon and Ninevah.

Native Americans do not speak of gods and goddesses. They speak of spirits. A great father spirit and many lesser spirits. The ancient of days, the God of Abraham is said to be Spirit and not flesh. The Messiah Jesus spoke of Him as Father, Abba in the Aramaic language of Israel at that time. Like wise Jesus said that He would sent the “Breath of God”, the “Ruach ha Kodesh”, the In breathing of Holiness. It is in this Holy Spirit’s guidance that things are revealed to the Nabi’im. Both ancient, and today.

To pierce the Veil of Perception we must do so either by the Holy Spirit of the Living God of Israel, or by some other spirit. The Apostle John warned the early followers of the Messiah...

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:1-6.

We are openly warned of false prophets, but also of the spirits operating through them.

As in ancient times the Holy One of Israel has raised up Nabi’m and Netzarim. Prophets and watchman to guard his people. The Prophet Hosea spoke of the prophets and Almighty God as the sole protectors of God’s people.

The prophet, along with my God, is the watchman over Ephraim, yet snares await him on all his paths, and hostility in the house of his God. Hosea 9:8 (NIV)

So today and everyday I will raise the Red Flags of warning. I will sound the alarm, to warn all who will listen. That is my calling, that is my responsibility. Yet I also know most will “listen” and ignore all that is said. Such was the calling of Ezekiel 33.

1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

21 And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

22 Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

23 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

24 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

26 Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess the land?

27 Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

28 For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

33 And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

This “Door” was not anticipated, it was not planned for. My duty is to spread the warning as widely as possible. If you have found these words on the internet because I have used the vehicle available then I have been obedient. What you now do with what you will hear/read, is now up to you. It is now on your head, and your hands.

I pray you call upon the Spirit of the Holy One of Israel to guide you in wisdom.

His Servant, Samuel

The Funnel Of Time

Bob Neumann

Let us begin by explaining that the Bible is not a “religious” book. While many religions, sects, and cults use it in some way or other, it was not meant to be so. First, it is a Message from the Eternal Creator God to mankind. Man was created for a purpose. He did not evolve. Nor was he “planted” on earth by an outside agency for some obscure reason. In essence it describes the on going activity between the Creator and the people of earth that He created in his Image.

The Bible specifically documents the names and places where God specifically interacted with man. Both on an individual level, and a national level. The Bible is a historical document. Second, it is the blueprint of the Eternal Kingdom. It defines the rules of, and by which, man is called to live. To do so God gives a point of reference and a general yardstick, His Nature. As He explains His Nature we are shown His character and His mode of operation. Not only does He tell us what He said or did, historically. But we are given the information of how He did what He did, but also the why it was done. Third, it is the foretelling of what is to come throughout the historical past and into the soon approaching future. Because of the dynamics of God’s relationship with His creation, He speaks of what will happen.

Quite literally all that has happened, is taking place, and will occur are because of who God is and what he has set in motion. All three above points are kept short and simple. They may each seem too general or non-specific to many who are reading this. Time and space limit what can be expounded. So let us go to the third point, today. The Bible is prophetic, speaking of what will be as often as what has been. In fact most of what God has done points to what will occur soon.

Imagine please, a structure of two simple geometric shapes. The cylinder and the cone . The cylinder sits atop the cone. Connect the two and remove the point of the cone. You now have a funnel, simple? A strange funnel, no doubt, but by nature a funnel. This is the funnel of time. Not an hourglass, but a funnel. We presently sit at the top of the sand, so to speak. The sand, time itself, flows out the bottom as a steady, continuous, unchanging rate. But at the top nothing seems to change. The sheer sides of the cylinder looks unchanged. Our movement is almost imperceptible. For thousands of years, we at the top could have sat without any sense of movement or activity. Then suddenly the cylinder meets the funnel and our perception changes.

The walls begin to close in. The “surface” is constantly changing. “Suddenly” we are in free fall as the last of the sand passes out of the funnel. Only the flow of time stayed constant. What was “changing” was our perception as all that was around us conformed to the shape of the funnel and the constant pull of gravity. We were just “along for the ride” so to speak. Oblivious to the “funnel”, and to the “sand”, until we are caught in the vortex - what I call the storm.

All the events that are occurring throughout the world seem to be falling upon each other because the sides are now coming together. No longer does a newspaper, magazine, or news desk need to look for stories that can be headlined. In fact death, mayhem, and tragedy are so common they are culled for the most compelling and most graphic.

Whether the story “sells” is more important than the statement of fact. You say I stretching the point, you tell me. For months the trial of a demi-hero, ex jock, bad actor holds international attention. So much so that the residents of the Florida pan handle were inadequately informed that a hurricane was bearing down on them. Two people are murdered, tragedy, yes. Failure to warn of a tragedy about to happen to many tens of thousands, is much more so. For that reason this information is being presented to any who will take notice. Once you do so, our job has been done. Our account is not lacking.
